I've been going here my whole life and have had a great experience every single time. I've had cleanings, extractions, and cavities filled. Dr king is the best. read more

I needed some major work done on a tooth with an old filling and had a cracked tooth next to it. I was very nervous about the procedure, and I have to say Kameron W. did an excellent job making me feel comfortable and at ease with the procedure. She and Dr. Mickey did a great job with the procedure. Kameron also followed up with a phone call to ensure everything was going ok a few days later. Answered a few follow up questions and scheduled my next appointment. I would recommend this team for anyone needing major work done. read more

My family moved from Michigan to Indiana in 2018 so we have been with this practice for years. This practice and office works for me and my family. Even one year when there were a few customer service issues with one of the doctors. I decided to switch to different doctor and stay with practice. These one-off issues were resolved with Dr. King and this office has seen both my daughters through dental care from teen to young adults. Dr. King and I have a good relationship and despite the minor past issue her expertise is unmatched. I wanted to take to tell the office how great Kortney has been to myself and daughter. Kortney provides great, clear recommendations. She is very adaptable in her personality whether I am feeling talkative or want a more relaxed cleaning appointment. We really appreciate her coordination of care and keeping me updated as I try to help my young adult daughter manage her dental care. read more

I don't even want to give this group of hacks one star... Do yourself a favor call another office. These people truly don't care especially the inexperienced Mickey. All he wants is money. He refused to clean my teeth because I told him I was having another office Send my x-rays to him. He said he can't do a cleaning without x-rays? The assistant acted like she was an insurance professional telling me It wouldn't cost me anything when it does cost my deductible. I tried explaining the deductible was needed for a crown, but she wasn't willing to listen. So they don't get a crown or cleaning. This office is outdated and dirty and my entire family will never be going there again. we've been going there for 15 years... they will never get another dollar from our family. Unappreciative and rude. Definitely call the next number for a better office. You will not regret it. read more

Lima Road Dentistry, this is an office I went to as an alternative to Afdent and I was incredibly surprised at how great my experience was. I went in with high hopes and every one of my expectations and more were met! The staff is personable, knowledgeable, and so sweet. I don't have any problems or apprehensions about the dentist going in as I'm not afraid of the dentist and I'm fairly easy to work on, what I didn't expect was the ease I was set at even being someone who's not scared. I initially went in for a cleaning, they squeezed me in the very next day after my call as they had a cancelation. Their waiting room is cozy, it has plenty of chairs an easily accessible bathroom, and a children's play area. I was called back promptly at my appointment time and my dentist hygienist was very nice and gentle. She offered me laughing gas for the cleaning and I declined as I didn't need it for what was being done. They called my previous dentist to get X-rays so I wasn't charged double for X-rays on my insurance that may not cover it. I came in the next day as well to have a cavity filled and the experience was the same. I was brought back by the dental assistant and she brought in the doctor who stayed with me the entire time. He never once left between numbing and was attentive and made me feel welcome. I was offered the laughing gas and headphones and I was surprised how quick and efficient they worked. My one filling took approximately 3.5 songs long before he sat me up and set me on my way. They also corrected some bite issues I was having from previous work at another dentist. I left happier than I could have imagined going to a dentist. Edit: minutes after posting this review the dentist who worked on my teeth called to check up on me and ask how the filling and my bite were doing. This is some of the most personable caring service I've ever gotten and I will absolutely be going back! read more

I just got home from the dentist with my 6 year old son Cooper and my blood is boiling. My family and I had been going to Lima Road Dentistry for the last 5 years. Their slogan is "We Baby Chickens". I have always had great experiences with Lima Road Dentistry. The office staff is helpful, responsive and overall good customer service. The hygienists are all friendly, kind and patient with the kids. And Dr. King and Dr. Atkinson have always gone out of their way to make sure the kids and myself are happy and comfortable. They have especially done this with Cooper who doesn't have very good teeth. When Dr. King filled his cavity she called and checked on him that night and even the next day. Cooper again only age 6 had a cavity that needed filled and he had an appointment but it wasn't until September. However the last 2 days he had been in excruciating pain and I was so grateful that Lima Road Dentistry was able to see him today. They told me they would need to pull the tooth that it was too far gone. I was fine with this. Cooper knew what was coming as I had prepared him as much as I could. He was nervous but he wasn't scared. He obviously just didn't know what to expect which is nerve wracking for anybody. We got a dentist that we had never had before. His name is Dr. Jeff (not sure of his last name) this guy was older and clearly doesn't specialize in kids he was impatient and rough with Cooper. He started shoving stuff in coopers mouth with zero explanation to him and cooper started crying because he was scared and this dentist proceeded to yell at cooper as he is yanking his tooth out. The whole experience was so awful and anybody that knows me knows I would normally rip into this man but this situation was already bad for Cooper and I didn't think it needed to be made worst by Cooper watching me scream at the dentist. Zac called them and expressed our unhappiness with today's appointment. The whole thing makes me mad Cooper was never scared of the dentist but I promise you he is scared now and he has to have another tooth pulled. So I don't want to rip on Lima Road Dentistry because the majority of the people there are great. However Dr. Jeff can eat a bag of **** read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My daughter and I have been patients here for several years. They've done all of our cleanings, my daughter's braces (yes, they're an orthodontist office too!), Invisalign for me, a crown for me, 2 caps, and my teeth bleaching. The staff is the best!! They are so friendly and gentle. Dr. King or Dr. Atkinson will call you at home in the evening if you've had a procedure done, just to make sure you're doing alright! I would highly recommend these 2 dentists and their wonderful staff to anyone looking for a new dentist. Whether it's for a toddler getting their first cleaning, someone with disabilities that needs extra gentle care, the elderly, teenagers, moms, dads, whoever. They're fantastic! read more

I have no idea what planet the reviewer who gave this office a one star zoomed in from, but I've had to live without effective, competent anesthesia for dental work my entire life, until the Lima Road dentists. Drs. Atkins and King have made it a joy to go to appointments. Attentive, respectful and always kind, and a phone call to follow-up after a procedure. Never had that before. If there were another way, I'd add more stars to this. This chicken appreciates no more pain with dental care. Their slogan/motto is accurate and perfect. read more

Their slogan "we baby chickens" is right on! Everyone is nice and welcoming! From the hygienist to the dentist the experience was painless and rather enjoyable! They even do a great job with kids! Highly recommended if you need your teeth cleaned! read more

Do not go here. I got a composite filling here for a "tiny cavity" that turned out to be so small Dr. King had a hard time finding it. I've had sensitivity with the filling from day one. I can't chew on one side of my mouth. I had it "fixed" (filed down) a week later but the pain persisted. A few months later, I mentioned the sensitivity during my regularly scheduled cleaning and Dr. King told me she didn't want to have to take it out and do it again. Don't worry, Dr. King, you won't have to fix it. I'll have someone who knows what they're doing fix it. My sister experienced a similar situation. However, her pain got worse and worse until she decided to go see a different dentist who informed her that her filling was done improperly and her cavity grew beneath the filling. She now needs a root canal. Worst dental experience of my life. You couldn't pay me to go back to Dr. King. read more

I was referred to Dr. Atkinson many years ago, after having been afraid to see a dentist for nearly 20 years, and have not looked back since! I've also had the pleasure (Yes, I used the word "pleasure" in the same paragraph as "dentist!") of Dr. King's care as well! These are the most caring, gentle, and compassionate people, who are also mindful of your finances, not recommending extravagant procedures when a more conservative option is available! They even call you the evening after you've had any work done, just to be sure you're doing alright. WOW! Thank you, Drs. Atkinson & King, and your amazing crew! You've got my vote for life!!! read more

Don't be deceived by the cutesy chicken logo. I was fooled into thinking that Lima Road Dentistry was the place for me because of my extreme dental anxiety. From the time I went in for my new patient appointment until the time I left nothing was done to ease my anxiety.I felt about as welcomed as a zit on a cheerleader's face. They don't mean anything that they advertise or place on their wall. A sign at their business stated something like, "If you don't like us for some reason, instead of telling others tell us first." Well I called the office manager to discuss my concerns and was met with defensiveness and hostility. She tried to place the blame on me for not speaking up about how anxious I was or telling me I should have asked for headphones to drown out the scary noises. Well gee, what was I paying THEM for? It is THEIR JOB to make me more comfortable and ensure that I had a pleasant experience. The dentist's office I went to last year provided a tv and headphones while I was in the exam room waiting for the dentist. Gee, imagine that, I didn't even have to drop any hints. They even gave me a welcome package and made me feel as if they valued my business. If you are a dental phobic person searching for a dentist steer clear of Lima Road Dentistry because they don't care about you as an individual. The phone book is chock full of dentists that will be more considerate of your feelings than Lima Road Dentistry. I had to learn the hard way. Remember YOU are PAYING them for a service, so you don't have to settle for shoddy treatment. read more
