Upon arrival, I signed in and handed all of the required items to the clerk; about 20 minutes later, the phlebotomist called me back. Voila, DONE! Don't expect any warm fuzzies from this crew: they are polite but distant - focusing instead on efficiently moving patients through their office. (I deducted a star because a mere 30 minutes after they opened, they were already running 20 minutes late on blood draws - which isn't wonderful news if you're awaiting lab work that requires fasting.)

I was happy to see that at 1:20PM... there was a 1:30PM and 1:40PM appointment for the same day. The clinic was in the on the same floor as my doctor's office which was very convenient. I arrived to the appointment at about 1:25PM since it was across the hall and was able to quickly check in via the kiosk as the mobile check-in process wouldn't allow a check-in more than 10 min early. The kiosk asked for my cell phone number, scanned my drivers license and my insurance card then I was good to go. Almost immediately after checking in, I was called back. The woman who called me back and was collecting the sample was very kind and careful and was easy to chat with. I really liked the staff at this clinic as well as how efficient they were (on-time for appointments).

Dr. Garza sent me here to get the stool containers. There were about 3-4 people in the waiting area and I was second in line. There was only 1 check-in kiosk. I was initially expecting that they would be quick and hand me one stool container. I was finally called in, shown 3 containers, and Angelica thoroughly explained what I needed to do. The reasons why I didn't rate the visit higher are the wait time and fewer check-in kiosks compared to LabCorp. Hopefully the process will be quicker when I come back.

I had a…read more9:45 a.m. appointment, checked in at the kiosk, uploaded my ID and insurance, and received confirmation stating I was successfully checked in for my appointment ("Thank you. We now have you checked in for your appointment"). I had no reason to believe there was any issue. After waiting 45 minutes, I noticed walk-in patients who arrived after me were being called first. When I asked an employee to check on my appointment, she initially said she couldn't find it. After I showed my confirmation email, she found it but claimed it had been "deleted" because the kiosk registered my check-in five minutes after my appointment time. Despite waiting nearly an hour and having proof of my appointment, she refused to honor my original check-in time. Instead, she re-entered me as a new walk-in and said I would have to wait behind about 10 patients who had all arrived after me. Even another patient confirmed I had been there the longest. When I questioned her "solution", I was told that if I didn't like it, I could go somewhere else. The most concerning part was that every piece of documentation I received actually indicated that I had successfully checked in, so I had no way of knowing my appointment had supposedly been deleted. Even after acknowledging I had been waiting the longest, the employee refused to correct the situation. I wasn't upset about what appeared to be a system/tech error, although that is also a serious problem. While this may not have been the employee's fault, she refused to do the right thing and offer an appropriate solution. Instead she thought it would be okay to keep me waiting even longer, completely disregarding the fact that I had an appointment, while also disregarding "first come, first serve." This was poor customer service and a complete failure to treat patients fairly. Please do better and learn to be kind to your patients.

The lady held his head and put an ice pack on him. The man helped too and kept calm explaining to me what was happening. He laid down in there afterwards. He's fine now. I appreciate their help. Showing up on Monday for my appointment (they don't require appointments), I found that only 3 clients are allowed in at a time, social distancing is required, employees wear masks and gloves (as long as this pandemic is going in), and hand cleaner was available. I sign in, complete all the paperwork, and then wait. After a while they call me up to tell me the doctor didn't send them the test info. so they were unable to do my test. I called the doctor's office, and they said it was sent. So, either somebody didn't send it, or somebody lost it. Either way, my current trip was wasted. The next day, I went to the doctor and picked up the paperwork. That solved the he said she said! I go back to the lab, and on walking in, found there were no other patients waiting. After about a 30 minute wait, they took me back. The nurse/tech appeared to be training a new hire and was very thorough in her job. She asked if I fainted easily:-). She did her work and took so much blood that I had to pay extra. At that point, I was free to go. Will I return? If I have to have this particular blood test again, I will. Any other blood test will be taken at a lab near my house.

When I signed in I had been in the office for about a Hour. The front desk receptionist was waiting to go to lunch so she wasn't to welcoming. (my husband says my customer service standards are too high and I need to lower my expectations) When I came in the office wasn't as packed. But a woman was ranting on about how she has been waiting forever and she finally left and went to get food and came back and they still hadn't called her. Drug screens are from 9:00 - 12:00 pm & 2:00 - 4:00 pm I am still currently waiting it is now 12:10pm. So who knows if they will still see me. The office isn't as welcoming its is actually pretty blan.

They sent me a threatening email stating that if I didn't pay the full amount I would be sent to collections. Then tell me how much I owe up front, I could have talk to my insurance to see 100% what was and wasn't covered. This place is awful and they don't care about anyone. I could just imagine the people who can't afford $10 to $20 here and there when they get paid. They slap people with bills they are not expecting. I won't ever use this company ever again. I wish I could give no stars.

Great environment however when a person tells a lab tech, they need an experienced phlebotomist…read morethere is a reason for it. My veins roll and they are very small. Because of some tech's inflated ego, I experienced multiple sticks and then she kept moving the needle around inside my vein on my right arm (my right is my dominant hand). Extreme pain, bruising, and soreness even days afterwards. Finally, a more experienced tech took over (after all the torture) and went to the other arm. Afterwards, no bruising on my left arm, couldn't even tell where the needle hole was. My right arm looks like I have track marks. Not happy what-so-ever. Next time I will push back, this is ridiculous! Does this company hire brand new tech's so they can practice on patients??? Not good at all! Day of the blood withdrawal pic 1.
