On my first visit, most of the time was spent in verbal conversation as well as being shown one exercise to do at home. On my second visit I was shown an additional exercise to do at home as well as a massage of tendon/muscle on my lower right back area. On my third visit, it was mostly verbal as well as being shown another exercise to do at home. When I asked for a sheet of paper illustrating all of the exercises that I should do at home, I was given a deaf ear. On my 4th visit, I was told to get on the table again and do all of the exercises that I had currently been doing at home. While all this time he was conversing with another person who was undergoing verbal "therapy" at the same time. I never went back. My therapist was very overweight and never stood up. He just kept rolling around the table on his chair. It was obvious that my therapy would not be "physical". I never did ask him about his backround. My mistake.

I have multiple…read moreongoing disabling chronic conditions and am currently under the care of a tertiary medical center to determine a treatment plan. In the meantime, all I needed was for my primary care provider, Vanessa, to update my existing reasonable accommodations and intermittent family medical leave forms. These were already in place; they simply needed to be renewed. I made it clear that if my accommodations are honored, I do not expect to use intermittent leave--it was only meant as a backup during flares. Despite being fully aware of this, she refused to update the paperwork. At the beginning of the appointment she stated that it was a 30-minute visit and that she would not go over that time, which immediately made me feel rushed and dismissed. In my opinion, this is grossly unacceptable for a primary care provider, whose role is to help manage these very issues. I left feeling unsupported and completely let down. Based on my experience, I do not recommend her to anyone, especially if you ever need help beyond the most basic visit.
