I am extremely fortunate to be under the excellent care of Dr. Brzezinski and her fine staff. The office is spotless and everything is state-of-the-art; online patient portal is user-friendly. This review is a mixed review. Part about the MD and office. Part about the Pellets. I found the process of making an appt easy. I received the paper work promptly and they set me up with an appointment with Lab Corp for all the pre procedure needed labs Dr. B is very nice, very personable, and open to answering you questions The procedure was a breeze and the after care instructions easy to follow. She also answered all my emails when I started to have side effects. Not sure I feel she took my concerns as seriously as I feel they should be addressed (I don't want to hear that this happens. I wanted to hear how long this was going to happen for). But that may just be me. Because she really was prompt with answering and acknowledged what I have been going through Insurance doesn't cover Biote pellets, you know that up front. And know the cost up front. Be aware you will be getting supplements and progesterone script. All out of pocket. If that is a concern, ask upfront the expected additional costs. My next part is about the actual Biote. Do some research. Know that once these are in your body, they are in there for months. Not like a cream which can be adjusted. I have experienced every side effect going. I have a period at least every other week. And sometimes more. (I am 12 years post menopausal.). I have gained close to 20 lbs in less than 3 months. (Due to the constant PMS, migraines and not being able to work out and all the gross things you felt went you menstrated, and I feel this every few days). I retain water. My breast are constantly sore, pregnancy sore. I broke out like I was 14 with cyclic acne. (Never had that as a teen) and still break out every start of a period. (So every other Thursday). I experienced the great feeling for a few days the week or so after. And I did get the benefit of an increase in sexual desire for about 2 weeks. That all fell wayside once I started bleeding every other week or more. My depression worsened because of the almost constant state of PMS. And truthfully I believe the depression worsened because who wants to have a period in their later 50's., I am gaining weight. And that general fatigued feeling. I can not get a clear answer as to how long these hormones will last in my body. Biote tells me 3 months. I am just about at the 3 month mark , and praying my periods stop. I won't do it again. And will research a little more deeply possible other treatments. I hope this helps. The office and MD I would give close to 5 stars too. The ease of the procedure I would rate a 4.5. There is some discomfort. The cost of additional supplements I would rate 3.5 stars. Wish I would have known that upfront. And I had to double up on my progesterone, so in the past 3 months I have spent $300.00 + on that alone. The actual Biote Inam giving 1 star. Disappointment! At this office they make you jump through hoops just to get an appointment and when you finally do it is just with her assistant. Dr Brzezinski requires that you do a blood work up, meet with her assistant, have a heart ultrasound on two different dates. (The second appointment was about 10 minutes,) there is no reason that I had to go two times. We all know now she can charge our insurance company for two visits. So now I have been to her office 3 times and I have not even meet her (How sad, she will not even take the time to meet you until you have jumped through all the hoops. She is so busy I have to wait 2 months just to meet her, I show up for my appointment which was at 3:40 at about 3:33 and I am told I am not early enough and my appointment is canceled, I have to come back another day. Ridiculous! Why would anyone in their right mind go back to this office. And just in case you wanted to know I have spent more than 10 minutes waiting in her waiting room, she did not give me any compensation. So her office can make you wait, but if you are not early enough, you get cancelled. When I got there the receptionist would not even let me sign in. My recommendation is to go somewhere else. If you are tired of waiting an hour to see your current doctor only to be handed a prescription within minutes of finally being seen and not heard,go see Dr.B!!!!!! My husband and I got so tired of pill mill doctors trying to poison us that we decided to make a change. I can't even begin to explain the feeling of having a doctor who actually listens AND cares!!!!! Did I mention her staff cares too?? Minimal wait time in her both beautiful AND clean waiting room with staff that are genuinely happy to see you. The exam rooms are clean and state of the art Dr.B offers natural alternatives to issues that in the past were either joked about or just ignored by close minded doctors. My husband and I took Dr.B's advice after we complained about no energy and mid life issues... Her suggestion was Bio TE pellets. Well let me tell you we owe this brilliant doctor our lives!!!!! We are back in the gym, losing weight, enjoying life and each other(wink wink) feeling like we are 25 again!!!!! Dr.B spends as much time answering questions as you need, never rushing you out the door which is so very important because it's YOUR health!!!! In my life I have never experienced such caring from a medical practice Oh and no waiting until your next appointment for lab results.....you get a phone calll!!!!! Other doctors want you back to the office so they can get another co pay out of you!!! Dr B and her staff aren't in it for the money, they truly care about making people's lives better!!!!
