Extremely Disappointed…read more I never had an issue with Prime MD, but unfortunately, since Lee Health took over, my experience has gone completely downhill. They have changed my primary care doctor multiple times because, apparently, my previous doctors were suddenly no longer in-network. I understand that insurance networks change, but what happened this time was completely unacceptable: I was dropped as a patient without being notified. I had prescriptions that were originally provided through their office, and now that one of them has expired, I'm unable to get my birth control refilled because I no longer have a PCP there. I was told I would have to pay $300-$500 out of pocket just to get a prescription refill elsewhere. When I asked why patients aren't notified when the practice stops accepting their insurance, the response I received from the person on the phone was simply, "I don't know what to tell you." That is not an acceptable way to treat patients. If you are going to stop accepting someone's insurance and remove them from your practice, patients should be properly notified and given enough time to establish care with another provider, especially when they have ongoing prescriptions. I am now left without a PCP and scrambling to get a medication refilled on time because of a change I was never informed about. Very disappointing experience with Lee Health.

My first experience with Er Quick care was a couple of months ago when in had rash on my body all…read moreover. First I thought it was dry skin but when it developed into a rash showing on my skin, I went to er urgent care for help. The reception area was very courteous and got me set up see a doctors on duty. When he heard my description of my symptoms he immediately showed me on his mobile phone the name of my problem which matched exactly toy problems but I have never heard off it before. It was a virus in my body which was dormant but had been activated. It's was not contagious but it will be around for several weeks . In the meant time, he prescribed the medicine I needed to treat my problem. The doctor's name was Dr Engel. He was dead on the prescriptions were right on the money. He was very caring and told me the symptoms will be around a few weeks before they disappear. It happened exactly as he said and the treatment was very effective. A very friendly and caring environment with competent staff. This place is now my go to place for medical care.

I filled out my life story turned it into the desk and was called to the back. Took my blood pressure asked med what was going on and I told them I tested positive. for Covid. The PA saw me and was no nonsense. Do you want the pills they offer? Yes I do. Sign here sign here and a prescription was in my hand. Couple of things that was interesting. They did not confirm my home test. They also did not test me for anything else. But I am feeling better with the second day of meds, so I am happy.

Then one of the receptionists tells me there's an issue with my insurance. I know we're insured, so I call them to find out what's going on. Another family has come in after us and is now waiting. While I'm on hold with insurance, I let the front staff know that if I can't figure out the issue, I'll self-pay and I ask if we're still in line. They say, yes. I find out there's an issue on my employer side that needs to be fixed, but there's nothing I can do now. While I'm finishing up, they take the family that came in after us. I ask them what's going on. They say they need to fix something on the computer before they take us back. I'm asking them to please take my daughter back and not make us wait after another patient who came in after us. They refused. I probably should have just swallowed it and stayed, but I simply couldn't believe that they would not take my daughter to be seen before the other family because of something they needed to change on the computer. One thing has nothing to do with the other. The lack of compassion when there's an 8 year old sitting there patiently, waiting to be seen and the mom is practically begging made it so I will never go to a Collier Urgent Care again. The provider may have been excellent and caring and lovely. I'll never know because we left. I think we should expect better of those in the medical field. I just wanted a little humanity, not - we need to change something in the computer before we can see your daughter. Awful.
