    Waiting for Dr Bello.
    Paul K.

I needed a ENT (ears nose throat ). I was recommended to Dr. Bello from one of his clients and they also take my insurance. My first visit I came for him to check my ears for heavy wax because I could not hear anything with clearity. No wax, off next door to the hearing test office. Then back to the Dr's. office for him to tell me I am in need of hearing aids. Great. Back to the other office and I pick out my hearing aids in pearl white. I kind of like the color. That was my first visit. The second visit was a follow up and I complained my ears were itching something fierce. He told met stop using Q tips and apply an ointment. Since I know more than the Dr. I did not stop using Q tips and never used the ointment. The third visit once again ears are itching and I feel miserable. He asked me if I used the ointment. Err uh no well I mean I thought about it. That should have counted. He was ready to write a new prescription for me and I asked him how long does the cream last he told me over two years is the shelf life. Uh um I don't think I need a prescription... I am now in my 10 pain and itch free day since I used the ointment. Dang I hate it when I am wrong and the Dr knows more than me. :)

I chose this provider because of his years of experience and the ability to be seen quickly, which…read moreI do appreciate. It's clear that he has extensive clinical experience. However, my experience during the visit was very upsetting. During a nasal endoscopy attempt, I experienced significant pain almost immediately. I clearly expressed that it hurt and asked him to stop. I was told that it "should not hurt" and that what I was feeling was not real. I even began to question myself and agreed to try the procedure a second time, thinking it might be psychological. The second attempt was even more painful, to the point that I had tears coming out and had to ask again for him to stop. At that point, instead of acknowledging the situation, the doctor became visibly frustrated. He stated that he had performed the procedure "a million times" and insisted that it does not hurt, implying that my reaction was not valid. He then threw the instrument into the sink with noticeable irritation. I also felt blamed for reacting physically to the pain, even though that is a natural human response. Being told that my pain was not real and being treated with frustration rather than care was deeply distressing. I left the office in tears. I respect the doctor's experience and do not question his knowledge, but patient care also requires listening, empathy, and respect, especially when a patient is in pain. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as no patient should feel dismissed or invalidated in a medical setting.

Not impressed with care. Lots of bloodwork and no diagnosis! Just wants to do injections!read more

I was one of Dr. Stanaland's original patients almost 25 years ago and at that time he was…read moreconscientious, caring and competent. Sadly, over the years his practice has gone way downhill. He is still a good doctor but his office is an out of control mess. He has possibly the rudest, least competent people I have ever come across in any medical office, anywhere. If one awful person leaves they are replaced with another awful person. It's like they specifically advertise for horrible people. A few years ago they botched a patch test by applying it upside down which completely negated the results. The woman that applied it didn't even discover the problem until the test was finished and she actually thought it was amusing as she tried to read the results backwards. Needless to say I wasn't amused. I saw Dr. Stanaland one more time to simply get a prescription refill and he was his usual nice, kind self but I told him his staff had made it impossible for me to continue seeing him. He asked me to give it another chance and to contact him personally if I had an issue. I tried to do just that when I needed another prescription (mind you this was for an inhaler, not some controlled substance) and they wouldn't do it because I hadn't seen him in a year. This was during covid and I was trying to stay out of public spaces. They would not do a telehealth visit and his "gatekeeper" refused to let me speak to him. Short of going to the office and barging in to the back area it was not possible to get the prescription filled. I eventually got it from my GP. Bottom line, I would not recommend this practice.
