After reading reviews and talking to other health care professionals as well as people around me, I selected Dr. Rajani. it is not a decision I regret. I go to his office with a problem and he will order appropriate tests. If the test warrant a visit to a specialist, he will recommend one and have his office call them and provide your medical records sent to them. He always follows up on the results, and never loses track of your illness. He has a new PA who I do not have enough contact with to evaluate. His Nurse/assistant is amazing. She is thorough, competent, and gives pragmatic advice when needed. Then one of the receptionists tells me there's an issue with my insurance. I know we're insured, so I call them to find out what's going on. Another family has come in after us and is now waiting. While I'm on hold with insurance, I let the front staff know that if I can't figure out the issue, I'll self-pay and I ask if we're still in line. They say, yes. I find out there's an issue on my employer side that needs to be fixed, but there's nothing I can do now. While I'm finishing up, they take the family that came in after us. I ask them what's going on. They say they need to fix something on the computer before they take us back. I'm asking them to please take my daughter back and not make us wait after another patient who came in after us. They refused. I probably should have just swallowed it and stayed, but I simply couldn't believe that they would not take my daughter to be seen before the other family because of something they needed to change on the computer. One thing has nothing to do with the other. The lack of compassion when there's an 8 year old sitting there patiently, waiting to be seen and the mom is practically begging made it so I will never go to a Collier Urgent Care again. The provider may have been excellent and caring and lovely. I'll never know because we left. I think we should expect better of those in the medical field. I just wanted a little humanity, not - we need to change something in the computer before we can see your daughter. Awful.
