My office has an entire wall of glass that gets direct sunlight most of the day. If i ran the AC to keep my office cool I would freeze out everyone else in my business. ClimatePro came to the rescue. They sent me film samples based on my photos of the job and stated desires. On the day of the install I received a call asking if they could come early. . . 3 hours early! 2 installers showed up and were totally professional and got the job done very quickly. When they were done they cleaned up and didn't leave a trace. My office is now much cooler. I can even have the blinds open most of the day. We live in a west facing condo with sliding glass balcony doors and lots of Windows on a hill in the Fountaingrove area, so the summer is really brutal. On that side of the place where both our living room and my office are. Our neighbors had 3M film on their sliders which had held up well for years. So we got a quote from Dan at Climate Pro with various suggestions for the degree of shading for different rooms. He left us film samples with several degrees of darkness and we chose 2 that best suited our purposes. I really needed extra sun protection in my office, which was the hottest room in the house. We are extremely satisfied with the results of this project done last summer. The rooms were noticeably cooler immediately. We were very happy with Dan & the ClimatePro team! Climate Pro was solid in terms of responding to our request for a quote and coming out to look at our project. Their customer service person was also lovely: she was was quick to respond and called to offer us an earlier date when someone cancelled. However, we're really quite disappointed with the professionalism of the person who installed our 3M film. Not only did he "lose the check to the wind" (what the heck is that???) and need us to give him another one without ANY apparent effort to track down our original check, but there's dirty handprints ALL OVER our walls for every single window. Our windows are 14 ft off the ground in some cases, so we're in a rough position now. I'm annoyed because not only did I have to spend time and energy calling our bank to cancel the check, but now we have to figure out a way to get a hold of a 14" ladder and clean our walls. It's infuriating that these basic elements of the job were left undone. I guess I recommend ClimatePro well enough, but with the caveat that apparently you have to project manage. read more

ClimatePro has been the #1 contractor I've worked with for my new home. Dan was responsive and reliable, which is a rare find in SF. All other contractors who came to do blinds, garage cabinets/storage, plumbing, electrical work or gates, etc. would either not show up for quotes, or they'd have major delays in giving quote or doing the work. Dan used his smart phone to do instant data entry of measurements and was able to give me a pretty accurate quote right there, then he and his office staff followed up with a written and itemized quote within 24 hours. That's just the standard I would expect, but sadly, most companies in our area are incapable of this efficiency and professionalism. Dan was also nice, knowledgeable, accommodating and patient (when I needed different product/price options and samples). Their installer Dave also did a nice job. Again, friendly and efficient and didn't leave any mess. He sprayed on a solution to install the films but I was happy after all that spraying he was able to leave with my window sills and floors dry and neat. He also used padding to protect the window sills/floors from the spraying. I was especially appreciative that he took care not to cause damage to my piano that's just 2 feet away from one of the large, tall windows he worked on. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants window films. I wish all contractors were as reasonable, on schedule, reliable, responsive and professional as they are. What a pleasant experience! We purchased our home about 20 years ago and had the windows solar tinted at that time. Throughout the process of getting the work completed, they were always very prompt from replying to emails to arriving to do the work on the day. The finished doors look great! The most pleasing part is that they look exactly how we had imagined/wanted them to look. The design we chose using our own logo was reasonably complex but the frosting was cut and installed incredibly accurately.
