A well known Yakima service failed to complete the work and said they were not able to remove tank's lid though I used them in 2018. Hector had no issues and the work was done with in a half hour. We've been with Cliff's Septic for quite some time now, absolutely love the service, price isn't too bad, and the guy that comes out is always so nice. However, I'm not sure if they have different receptionists or maybe she's having a rough week, but Maria / Marie, whatever it was, was so rude on the phone. Everytime we've used them in the passed, we've been given a rough time frame, and we receive a call when the driver is about 10 minutes out due to reasons, we need the heads up and really appreciate it the extra step from them. Well this last time we were told we CAN'T be told a rough time frame. We were told we'd get a heads up, which was cut drastically short, i was getting cut off while trying to talk to her, then when she went to "check" on the time, and i said thank you, she LAUGHED. I was so astonished. We were even told, oh yea, if you check the reviews, she has lots of complaints. I was shocked. How can you allow someone to be the voice of your company when there are repeated complaints? The lady I've talked to prior I've loved, she's always been so kind and nice. Not sure on her name, and if it's the same gal, then she's clearly switched up / having a rough week. Either way, it seems she's had many complaints. If it wasn't for the great service outside of her, we'd switch to a different company. read more

Not sure what secretary name is but she gives to much attitude and is a hitch every time. I call it's like she has a problem. if you can't give respect then don't expect it back! She needs to learn some customer service skills. Literally she is the only reason I won't call Cliffs for my septic services anymore . Taking my business elsewhere. DO BETTER. I am from the Yakima valley and own a house in Sunnyside. I had to have some work done and so my sister called them. Not only did they show up days later then they said they would be there, but it was only because I called to inquire about when they would be there. They took it upon themselves to add things that were unnecessary to run up the bill. The bill was $534. I got a call today to let me know I had a $20 balance. I asked why if I had already paid it off. She said there was a balance of a few dollars and another $10 charge for being late. Aside from feeling taken advantage of, the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!! I live in California and my family came down for a family affair. My sister was conducting business on speaker phone with an employee by the name of Maria. After concerns were expressed the manager was requested and placed on hold for 10 MINUTES. When concerns were relayed again to the Manager/Owner Joyce there was absolutely no resolution, and out of frustration she used the word 'Freakn' in her none sense explanation. I was in disbelief that a business and let alone the owner/manager would chose to speak like this to a client. (She tried to justify that that wasn't a bad word, however clearly used in an in-directive manner) Long story short Maria relayed they could make arrangements to access and clean a porta potty which is located at a place of business and simply it was not the case. All this could have been avoided and they need to work on their professionalism. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't do business here if you expect any understanding, maturity, or human decency when attempting to resolve an issue. My sister called for a porta potty and was told BY MARIA from the beginning that with the circumstances of the gate needing to be locked at all times, there would be no problem with the workers stopping by for cleaning giving her (my sister) a call beforehand in order for the gate to be unlocked. Now here we are months later with no calls received from the workers, a dirty porta potty and BS excuses FROM JOYCE OWNER/MANAGER stating the gates are always locked when workers attempt to come and clean it...... well yeah what did you expect when we had made arrangements precisely for this reason??? And then to make comments questioning my sisters intellect and understanding of THEIR SERVICES? Completely laughable! JOYCE, you should really be talking to MARIA since she takes home pay from YOUR BUSINESS without knowing what your policies actually are! All could have been avoided if from the beginning MARIA would have communicated policies accurately. Seems pretty simple to me. read more

This is another example of a great local business! I have found them to have a quick response time, pleasant demeanor on the phone, and outstanding service techs. Mr Nash and an assistant whose name, regrettably, I didn't catch, were very considerate about ensuring that my issue was solved. And, they came at the end of, for them, was a very long day.
