This small bar has been loved by locals for many years. It's not usually the kind of place we go to…read morebut for us, it's a place with memories. My husband's grandfather used to come here often since it was just across the street from where he lived. My husband had been here with him before but my first visit was when we came to town for his grandfather's funeral. A few family members stopped by the bar afterward as a tribute to him. We haven't had many chances to visit Ford City since both of his grandparents passed away. This time, we were visiting our uncle in Kittanning so we decided to stop by to grab our favorite hot sausage. It was around lunchtime and the barstools were already filled with locals. We got our hot sausage and my husband enjoyed a beer with it while we talked about his grandpa and shared some memories. It was a simple visit but a meaningful one. We'd love to stop by again the next time we're in the area.
