The attorneys do not. More communication from billing than from the attorney. When the billing department contacts you more than your lawyer, the priorities are clear -- and they are not the client. The attorney introduced at the beginning was NOT the attorney assigned after payment. That switch alone is a major red flag. My assigned attorney does not appear anywhere on the firm's own team webpage. That lack of transparency is unacceptable. Online reviews show a pattern of detailed complaints that match my experience, yet the firm responds with generic "contact us for feedback" messages instead of addressing the issues. The money disappears fast, and the work does not reflect the cost. The value, communication, and results do not match what they charge. Something is off about how this place operates. This was not the case with my experience with Steve Sufrin. Dissolution of Marriage documents were drawn up, reviewed as the proper documents, and filed by Mr. Sufrin, eventually resulting in a virtual Default Hearing with the Judge. It was discovered that after the Hearing which granted dissolution, the wrong papers were filed with the court. This resulted in my having to request the court to nullify that ruling, refile, and reschedule yet another hearing using the CORRECT documents outlining the terms that they were originally supposed to reflect. Mr. Sufrin assured me that he will make this mistake right and alluded that the court clerk had made the mistake with the improper filing. ?? In the meantime, I arranged the terms of the divorce to be favorable to all parties but was told by Mr. Sufrin that he doesn't get out of bed for less than his hourly rate and would be charged for his representation a second time. Hardly, his making it right. I will add that I pointed out several of Mr. Sufrin's errors while he was preparing documents. He joked that it was the software and the use of electronic filing. All in all, it cost me nearly one year of my life as well as an additional amount of money for his neglect/mistakes. At this point, I am grateful to be divorced and finally being able to move on with my life, but I would entertain a comparison with this attorney to Saul Goodman.

They said they will provide a quote after reviewing which is standard. I sent them the agreements and after two days of review said that this will cost $2,500 and paid the $2,500 dollars. I agreed to this figure and they sent me over a client service agreement which I signed. Two weeks later their billing department reached out and said that in the fine print I was paying per hour ( which is something I was never communicated verbally and hid within the contract). They then went on to say that Me hudspeth actually went over by an hour and I owe them $350 more dollars. I communicated that this is unethical and that it is unjust to hide in the small print and then they proceeded to send me daily payment notifications for the next several weeks. Their response was that I should've been more careful when reading the client service agreement with their law firm and that I owe them the regardless. Overall this is an embarrassment for a law firm to go back on their word over $380 dollars and a massive disservice showing that they will hide items in the fine print to make more money. At some point you will need to hire another law firm to review Hudspeth Law firm agreements just to make sure that they are not over charging you!

This lawyer will be a push over to the opposing counsel. If your case is difficult, he will collect his fee from you, do the job of a paralegal, NOT AN ATTORNEY. In other words, he will file paperwork but never answer your emails, or phone calls. He will promise you that you will have your day in court and then at the last minute cave under the pressure of the other attorney. I went 5 months without seeing my child. I am not a criminal. I don't have any CPS involvement. I am a nurse. I have a level 1 fingerprint clearance card. I have been diagnosed as bipolar. THIS IS ALL THE OTHER ATTORNEY AS ON ME. But with Ron that is enough. He will go along with whatever the other lawyer wants. Even though the other side lied about me. My ex is a substance abuser, who has set the house on fire and threatened to murder me just 4 days prior to turning the tables on me and having me hospitalized for mental illness. Well, with the help of Ron, my ex has full custody. YES, This has gone on over a year. I haven't even had a sleep over with my own child and I am the mother. This case has been going on since 2017. I don't want to go on with all the details. I think I have said enough. This lawyer doesn't care about families. He doesn't care about his clients. He will tell you after a year and a half (of being painfully separated from your child) that YOU NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. However, he never told me HOW to take responsibility. I was compliant on my meds. I had taken SEVERAL parenting classes NOT REQUIRED BY THE COURT. I had therapists wanting to testify on my behalf. Psychiatrists would wrote me beautiful letters. These letters the courts never saw. Ron is extremely passive. HE WILL NOT FIGHT FOR YOU.
