Dr. Duprang repaired my rotator cuff years ago, and now I'm back for my knee. They stay really busy, but they get me in as quick as they can. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Lacey Clawson…read more About five years ago I dropped a frozen ham on top of my left foot. I finally was tired of the pain and visited Dr. Clawson. She believed it would be a cleaning of the big toe joint (cheilectomy) but also said that if it was bad - it would be a fusion (Hallux Arthrodesis or MTP) So we scheduled the procedure and I had it January 31st, 2025. It ended up needing a fusion - there were bone fragments and no cartilage at all. Five weeks post op - I am still in the boot (typically need a boot until six weeks) but I am THRILLED with the results. After years, I am in no pain and look forward to long walks and really appreciate the care Dr. Clawson has provided.

I was told that I needed a referral and I told the receptionist that I was already a patient there and had Medicare. So, I called my pcp and asked to get a referral. Since no Dr office ever calls back, I called Bone and Joint back and was told by the nurse that I could have an appointment in a week. Nevermind! I went to Vital Care and got help with my skiing injury!!

He is down to earth yet incredibly knowledgeable and experienced at all he does. He is also an educator to not only me as a patient but to his staff. You can tell they REALLY like working for him and his 2 other DCs. I went there for the first time yesterday (9/2/2025) with several issues (knee, ankle, and both shoulders) and we discussed them all. He worked up a treatment plan and I walked out feeling so much better as he said I would. I'm a realist and know (Scott Wofford also stated) that my pains will take a couple more treatments and I'm so fine with that. I couldn't quit talking about how good I felt once I got with my husband. I can't wait to go back again next week and see how much better I am able to move. He is truly a blessing!
