The therapist listened to me on what I felt like I was struggling with to help me reach my goals. They would come up with exercises to help work on the muscles that wasn't working to get them working again. Everyone was so kind and very helpful beyond any place I have ever been. I had a really hard time leaving because I will miss everyone there. I will have to make visits hopefully as just a visitor not a patient to see everyone. If you are thinking about InPatient therapy I would choose here by far the best place. They keep everything clean and always smelling good. The food is really good I was blown away that they offer the food that they do. When I say good food I'll give an example I had shrimp a few times while I was there. Everyone really makes sure you are doing ok and makes sure you are comfortable while you are there. If you press the call button for help they come quickly to check on you there's no waiting awhile like at the hospital. They care about their patients here. Because of this place I've made some good improvement on getting better. I did workouts on my own along with the therapy they gave me. If I wanted to use equipment in my room they would check out equipment to me to workout. They would even give printouts and show you workouts you can do on your own to help you achieve your goals. If you wanted to work on something specific they would get you the workouts to target what you wanted to accomplish. They even have an app that you can see the workouts with videos to help you understand the workouts. I was even able to get the medicine that I was taking to be be prescribed to me. They can only do 30 days worth on the medication so keep in mind you will have to get with your doctor to continue those medications. One final thing what you put into therapy is what you will get out of it. If you don't have the motivation you won't get the same results I did from coming here. Everyone is great here and I really appreciate everyone from the receptionist, nurses, therapist, maintenance, administration, Janitors, Kitchen. Thank you everybody in what you do and keep up the great work that makes Encompass a top notch place to do therapy. I miss yall already and hope to come visit.

My dad stayed at Encompass a year ago and had a great experience. When he had another hospital…read morestay, he became very weak. I asked to go to Encompass thinking we would receive the same level of care. My dad could not get out of bed alone, go to the restroom and he struggled to scoot along with a walker. He came with a catheter and received permission to remove it. They put it back in when they decided he was too much trouble without it. We had three great nurses while we were there. They were never on the same shift and were always in high demand because the other nurses were uncaring and unprofessional. Their goal is to keep their rating say they are ready to go home after 14 days whether they are or not. They did not want my dad to transfer to another facility because it hurt their rating. They suggested I check him out and have his personal physician check him into another facility. I guess he was supposed to sleep in the car until his appointment since he was not mobile enough to get in an out of the car without fear of falling or in and out of the house. When we finally got to another facility, it was discovered that he had gotten a uti due to improper maintenance of his catheter. I do not know what happened to Encompass but it was a humiliating and depressing experience for my dad.

Something happed today that needs to be fixed. Tommy is in the hospital. His room is a 5 minute…read morewalk from the main entrance, but a 1 minute walk from the north entrance. I arrived at the north entrance at the same time a young couple with a baby and bags was dropped off. The north entrance was locked because no one was at the desk. This young couple, with baby and bags, had to walk all the way around the hospital to get to the main entrance. I felt terrible for them. When we got to the main entrance, there was no one there either! This wasn't a problem for me, but it sure was for them! Hendrick just recently took this hospital over, and I am SO NOT IMPRESSED! Staffing appears to be at a minimum. Please do better for your patients and visitors.

The ladies behind the counter are always very courteous and professional. In addition the other Physical Therapists like Brent and Scott always go out of their way too help out however they can. I've been to many physical therapist over the years and I'm happy to say that the faculty at Rebound has been the best experience yet!
