LRS Property Management in Tehachapi is one of the most professional companies I have the pleasure…read moreof leasing from. Naylan is wonderful to deal with, always calls back and responsive to my needs as a tenant . The maintenance team is friendly, efficient and always respond in a timely manner. I am leaving because of relocating and going to miss living there in Tehachapi. Highly recommend LRS property management and Naylan is a highly trained professional. Thank you , Kate

Let me start by saying today it is 5/11 and me and my partner applied for a commercial building…read moreback in March. He put in the application for the unit and because my name is on the LLC I was asked to put in an application as well, which is understandable, however it was not needed from my understanding of other companies. We gave them all the information they asked for which was so much things even unnecessarily things; Check Stubs, bank statements, Job verification, and even tax returns. My partner was OVER QUALIFIED for the building and either they did not want black people in it because It almost felt like they didn't want to give us the building in the first place so they were trying to find any reason not too. Every time we called for questions she would never answer. When I asked to speak to someone above chrystle they would contact me with Diana and she was worse dealing with. I even had to apply for a business license and business insurance before even knowing I was going to get the building I spent so much money to get in the building to not get the building. a week ago I was told that the owner approves however I have to pay a double deposit which was never mentioned to me at all. They stated due to never leasing a commercial building however when I put in the application and even before, she knew this was our first building so it definitely should have been mention that I might have to pay a higher deposit. The deposit amount was listed online, and didn't say anything about it possibly being more. When I agreed to pay the double deposit, I was told that I have to pay the full rent on top of the double deposit to the leasing company before even seeing a lease which was on a Friday. And she will not give me the lease or keys till Tuesday. I have never heard that in my life me giving someone $5000 before even getting to see a lease agreement nor a draft. I started to do research on this company and seen they had so many reviews on keeping people deposit, so I wanted to see the lease agreement before handing them any money and they refused. The communication was horrible. They do not answer the phone and barely answer text, the experience was devastating. I even made an appointment to see the building and the person that was supposed to show me the building canceled the same day and I took off of work to be there. I would have rather spoke to the owner because I really wonder if they know their business is in the hands of an incapable business. When I told them I don't feel comfortable giving them almost 5k without seeing any type of documentation, they replied to me and said they are cancelling my application. So unprofessional, rude, and a waste of 3 months

I've used Frontier to buy, to sell, and as a property manager. They're ok. If you have an easy deal…read moreor easy tenants, they're just fine. They have a big network, and they'll sell your place, but if you want a profit, I wouldn't suggest working with them. When I replaced them as my seller, I was able to get a buyer at over 10% higher of a price. If you do work with them as property managers, just don't give them your credit card. They'll spend like it's Christmas on their contractor friends.

*Terrible Service* I…read morefeel bad doing this -- I think I've done maybe three reviews ever, and the other two were 5 stars. I want to start off by saying that Cheyenne Schmierer has been nothing but kind and very professional. All the praise goes to her. I'm sure she doesn't enjoy receiving complaints when it's not her doing. Brookdale Estates in Ridgecrest, CA is basically a retirement community (aside from a few residents who aren't of that age). My wife and I have owned a rental property there since 2016, and one of the main things that caught our eye was the well-manicured grounds. Truly, aside from a few places locally, Brookdale Estates has--or rather, had--the nicest landscaping around. The grass was always immaculate, the trees trimmed perfectly, and the leaves and trash were always taken care of. To top it off, the entire community was always managed in-house -- it never needed an outside brokerage firm stepping in. But things happen: people move, pass on, whatever it may be. Life happens. Then along came Frontier Real Estate Services, who took over in April of this year. In just six short months, the place has become almost unrecognizable. Sadly, not in a good way -- it looks terrible. They got rid of the one constant there, our yard service, Alex, who was also the best around. I've heard different things as to why they had to switch, but that's not my place. I'll just say that Ridgecrest has lawn-care companies on every corner and they can't even manage that??!! Still, no one was going to care for it like Alex did -- that's a fact. When I was told, "We are working to address that concern," it told me they don't have things together. That was two weeks ago, and still, nothing has changed. I genuinely feel bad for Cheyenne, but I let her know that I won't be paying my HOA fee until things get turned around. She explained the ramifications, etc., etc. I'm aware -- but honestly, I don't care. I think everyone there should do the same. It's not just the yard that's become an issue, but that's the one thing I care most about right now. I told Cheyenne this: I would much rather pay the $185 HOA fee -- but what's the point if they can't even take care of their end? Seriously, it's the least they can do.
