This place keeps billing me. I had an emergency and had to go to ER in Jan 2020. They are STILL…read morebilling me. My insurance paid them, but they assume that since I HAVE insurance, I must have deep pockets! They keep sending me bills and it is now JUNE. This is one of a handful of bills. They are contracted out by Providence Hospitals so if you don't want to deal with them, Don't go to providence hospitals! I didn't know they would drag me like this and didn't even know Providence had private imaging contractors. I will never go back to Providence now for that reason. Shame on these people. They will latch onto you if you have insurance and won't let go.

Pitts Radiology is a scam operation. Never received a bill from them. A year later I get a call…read morefrom a collection agency, asking me to pay a balance. Not even sure what it was for, since it was so long ago. Tried to call their billing department to find out. Was kept on hold for 45 MINUTES! They never answered their phone. Since I didn't have an account number, I couldn't log into their online bill-pay website. Clicked on the icon to wait for a chat. Waited 25 minutes for someone to come on, and was told that they cannot provide me with my account number to log on (even though I could provide THEM with my DOB, date of service, amount due, and any other information they might need). Thought I would go in person to their public address: 1519 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Went there, and guess what? There IS no such address. It's the back side of a Baptist Hospital Building. If you call the phone number associated with that address, 803-296-5954 (their supposed administrative office phone number), you get an outgoing voicemail from Melanie Jackson, giving you all sorts of other phone numbers to dial. But no one on that line answers a phone. I'm guessing that Pitts is scamming their clients, by turning faux bills over to collection and figuring out that half the suckers being called will just pay it. Maybe I'm wrong, but let them prove me wrong. They're either one of the most incompetent medical service providers in the region or one of the most corrupt. Can't tell.

I really don't think I can express how…read moregrateful I am to the entire staff my Doctor Dr. Andersen is a terrific young man and a very knowledgeable caring Doctor and as for everyone of the young ladies that worked in the back where I would received my radiation treatments well Everyone of them. every treatment would greet me with a great big bright happy smile on their faces on top of that they were the most caring helpful young ladies they would take their time and help get me positioned for the treatment and at the end of the treatment the smiley girls would reappear in the treatment room and see me off man I sure am going to miss that and last, but not least Tom the sour patch kid thank you, Tom I appreciate it, buddy my final conclusion I hardly ever say anything nice about anything. My wife would back me up with that statement, but every once in a while. you'll find something great Coastal Cancer Center radiology. #1 This is one happy patient and for all of the smiley girls in the treatment room who convinced me to grow my hair long in order to become Fabio Thank you

Good doctor but staff leaves a lot to be desired. Note to staff - please be clear when you are…read moremaking an appt for a patient and it's with a nurse and not the doctor. Patient should know what to expect at an appointment and who they are seeing. And, most importantly, CLEARLY COMMUNICATE with patient as to what are next steps during the appointment. Don't take a patient (a cancer patient, no less) and sit them in the Treatment Room with no explanation as this causes unnecessary stress to the patient - is the patient to expect a treatment or therapy that the doctor didn't discuss with them previously? am I in the wrong place? what type of treatment are they giving me? ONLY TO FIND THAT THEY HAD AN APPT WITH THE NURSE, UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM, AND WERE SIMPLY SAT IN THE "TREATMENT ROOM" to wait for a nurse to read them their lab results. Additionally, the staff is terrible at submitting prescription dosing instructions - thankfully, the CVS pharmacists are incredibly wonderful and called the office 3x trying to sort out and clarify the instructions. Do better and be more professional. And, note, to all local doctors and staff - ALWAYS INTRODUCE YOURSELF - "I'm Nurse/Doctor/Medical Assistant xxxxxx" so that way we know who you are and how you will be assisting us during our appointment. This is not only a simple courtesy but a professional practice that should be used.
