Great decor, very boutique-y for a doc office. Staff is lovely. Service is very quick, but not rushed. I dawdled getting ready for the exam, but it's possible to get in and out of here in 15-20 minutes. I believe they were very thorough. The radiologist (name begins with an 'I') was so nice, and even showed me on her screen the area she was trying to film - to explain why she needed to position me in a certain (uncomfortable) way. Ladies, we gotta do what we gotta do. This is about as nice a mammogram experience as you can get.

Very efficient staff and technicians. When you check in they put together any of the required forms and soon you are called for the procedures. I appreciate the Novant system as they remind you with emails and phone calls about your upcoming appointment. And key is that you are asked to update your information electronically. You go to their link and click through the various categories, like personal data, medications, contact information, etc. THIS saves you having to fill out the same information as they have in their computer system. When you go to other medical clinics or facilities, even when they have the information in their computers, the staff wants you to fill out the forms. I think that is a sign of ignorance &/or laziness. Not so with Novant facilities. Once the data is in, it is in. The technicians are really friendly and courteous. They answer your questions and take the time to tell you about the procedure that they are about to do. So nice. My wife agrees with her experiences here and says that she feels more comfortable after getting the information about what will happen. Once the procedures are completed, the images are very quickly in the hands of the referring doctors. They are read by radiologists at the imaging center first and their written opinion is part of the electronic package going to your treating physician. An excellent system, staffed by friendly, courteous, knowledgeable people who are there to help you.

My local neighborhood facebook group recommended a different location of CEENT but this one had an earlier appointment available with Dr. Baker, so I gave it a try. The building was modern and clean. The reception desk was a little weak on making me feel particularly comfortable and welcome as a patient but once called back for my appointment the nurse and doctor staff were very pleasant and professional. I also had a really good experience on the phone prior to my appointment ensuring that they accepted my insurance before I drove to the visit. Though I'd prefer a bit more of an intimate/small office feel for my regular eye doctor, this was still an overall good experience. Other than proximity to my home (using a closer CEENT office), nothing would deter me from continuing with services here.

I was able to get an new patient appointment within a week…read more The person who made the appointment was nice and let me go "straight to the surgeon" since I would be bringing previous medical records and images. I was in severe pain due to a pinched nerve. I had basically been a prisoner to my own bed for three months prior to seeing the surgeon. Pain pills did absolutely nothing for me, I could only get relief through lying down. I was also unable to do things people take for granted such as bathing or cooking. Dr. Smith looked at the MRI images with me, explained what was on those images in a way I could understand, and how what was seen on the images caused the symptoms I was having. I also had a full neurological exam. Dr. Smith said a microdiscectomy would be a good treatment for me, and saw no reason it wouldn't help me. Dr. Smith also gave me the option to get a second spinal steroid injection, but understood that they haven't worked for me in the past. No patient wants to jump straight into surgery, and it was agreed that it would be no problem for it to be done, although being an obese patient brings its own risks. The surgery was described throughly with possible risks and complications explained. The clinic was great with communication and was available to answer my questions in a timely manner. Dr. Smith was able to solve my main complaint of leg pain and weakness through surgery, with physical therapy being used in my further treatment to address back pain.

After finally being seen by the Urologist, I found him to be very rude and did not pay attention to my issues and concerns. Overall the wait and staff were very disappointing.
