The worst front desk receptionist I have ever encountered. You stand there expecting a greeting…read more She stares at you. Does not even say "hi checking in?" Just a blank stare. "Hi? I have an appt." Still staring.... Ok??? She actually says "I don't know you? You're supposed to say your name" SHE ACTUALLY SAID THAT... I say "did you ask my name??" I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER return to this place. You already have anxiety because your boobs are about to get pressed into a machine. The words "mammogram" & "breast cancer" will scare easily. Please be kind to your customers. Get rid of this receptionist if you haven't already. What a monster. No "have a nice day" upon leaving either. She just exists behind that desk. Will add: Radiologists were lovely. But I'd go to another place simply because this front desk rude woman sets the whole mood for the appt.

The radiologists are fantastic, and I would have given 5 stars based on their care alone. However,…read morethe front desk staff brings the experience down. When you walk in, there's no acknowledgment--you're left standing at the counter while they chat among themselves. A simple greeting would go a long way. Their attitude comes across as if checking patients in is an inconvenience rather than understanding that patients are the reason they are employed. Professionalism and courtesy at the front desk would greatly improve the overall experience.

Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. refuses to provide service unless they are allowed…read moreto copy your Drivers License as well as your insurance cards. Make no mistake, Medicare DOES NOT require your medicare card be copied, the HIPPA Act DOES NOT require your identification cards be copied, and many insurance companies DO NOT require that providers make physical copies of your identification cards. Allowing medical providers to copy identification cards puts citizens AT RISK for identity theft. It has happened to me. What IS required by the HIPPA act is that patients be positively identified. This requirement is easily and safely met by providing identification in person when requested at the point of service. Medicare and insurance companies require the POLICY NUMBERS associated with the patients, not that the card be copied. Coping the information does not enhance identification, but does raise the risk of it being stolen, especially when they request to copy BOTH SIDES of your drivers license and military identification card. They have captured all my medical insurance data (not copied the card, but entered the data into their system), and I provide identification as requested upon arrival to their office, yet they refuse to provide medically beneficial services because I will not allow them to make hard or electronic copies of by drivers license, military identification card or medicare card. Their excuse? "Well, it's just our policy" No federal, state, or local law or regulation (that I could find) REQUIRES medical providers make electronic or physical copies of patients identification papers. I believe they just do it as a matter of their convenience. They are doing a disabled veteran a disservice by not providing needed care. Do note that I am provided medical services by many medical providers, none of which have made copies of my Medicare card, military identification card, or drivers license card.

The hospital referred us to this establishment for follow up. She was "seen" 16 days later (if you consider a ten minute consult being seen) by Sap Patel, who wasn't able to adequately complete her required medical paperwork, give a straight or definitive answer to any of her questions, and told her that if she wears a big enough hoodie she could potentially drive even though it is illegal for an individual in a back brace to drive because she wouldn't be able to turn to check her blind spots. He could not answer where the broken piece of her vertebrae was and showed no concern for her future well-being since she is young and relatively healthy. The lack of professionalism and concern for her condition was absolutely appalling. She left the appointment feeling that her needs were not important enough for the individual (I refuse to refer to them as a doctor) to even review and take the time to address any of her concerns. We will be following up with her primary care physician who is AMAZING and will ask for a referral to a specialist who actually cares for their patients and provides sound medical advice. I would encourage others to do the same.
