I've bought a few small functional kitchen items and recently, a lovely bread basket to use for the holidays. The ladies who work here are friendly, pleasant and helpful. The store itself encompasses several different rooms filled with treasures. Watch your step, as there are some uneven floors. The furniture selection varies a lot and unique item go fast. Think "mostly" French with touches of other countries' antiques, of various kinds. An interesting mix of (mostly) French "things" - from gifty cookbooks (with, ahem, a focus a la francais) and vintage postcards, placards and prints, to quite lovely (and sophisticated and genuine) items for the home (or to give as gifts): Waterford decanter and rocks sets, period pieces with details such as date and origin clearly provided (armchairs, end tables, curios and such) to . . . Nice (and talky) owners. They often visit places such as Scott Antique Market in Atlanta (if you're an antique shopper, you know and love Scott's) and have periodic forays abroad. They also have a fantastic smelling variety of small gift items like candles, and chinoiserie you won't find elsewhere in Chattanooga. If you're a fan of browsing or buying this type of thing, stop by - open every day except Sunday (oh, and right next to the Griffin Footlong Hotdog store that is supposed to be old school and worth a visit, too).

Since we were loving from the area we wanted to get rid of anything extra. We dropped it a day before his auction and it did not sell, but he put it into the next rotation. He calls after this sale and says it didn't sell and we have 30 days to sell it or he will donate it. Knowing we were moving away I'm thinking he wanted to steal it to sell and keep the cash at this point. It's a nice antique Tudor style table, 8 chairs, 2 hitches and a couple end table. Next auction he sells some, no check ever came. I texted him and he said he would see where the payment is. A couple months later no check for what has sold and he won't return messages. I would avoid this guy unless you want to be scammed!
