Also got the market salad as usual with toasted almonds and apples. Delicious as always.

I ordered a fruit cup and a green tea, and my coworker also got a fruit cup along with a coffee. The green tea was good, and everything was served quickly. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the café.. there were lots of cool decorations and unique things to look at on the walls that gave the place a fun vibe. Overall, it was a great spot for a quick breakfast before work. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Mystic Café if you're looking for a nice breakfast spot with good service and a welcoming atmosphere!

It's located in downtown Lewiston and one of the nicest buildings in town. From the moment we walked in the door, this place oozed charm. There was a gentleman playing the piano, dressed in old-timey garb. His greeted us with a wide and sincere smile. We walked through several rooms packed with people and decorations and sat in a side room with a bar and near a bright-as-the-sun stained glass window. The lunch and dinner menu was quite expansive, starting with salads and sandwiches and ending with steak and seafood options. I ordered a Caesar salad with smoked salmon and my son ordered the Cuban sandwich. While waiting for our meals to arrive, we toured the other rooms and marveled the eclectic decorations. In the main dining room, there was a large mountain lion preying over the patrons. Each room and wall had different but interesting decor, like they have someone picking out the neatest items and centralizing them here. The food came and unfortunately it wasn't quite up to the standard I now anticipated. The smoked salmon was tasty and plentiful on my salad, but it lacked dressing and enough lettuce to get a good balance. My son's Cuban didn't come on Cuban bread or a pressed bread, but a standard thick baguette, which we both found odd. He said it was too much bread and dwarfed the pork, ham and cheese; quite disappointing. However, the French fries were bountiful and good. Overall, this was a fun place to eat and they likely have some tasty options, but we chose poorly for our maiden visit. Will definitely try this place again if in the area.

We were greeted, directed to seat ourselves, and decided to pick a high top table in the bar area looking out into the patio. The restaurant was clean and inviting with only a couple of other parties present upon arrival at noon on a weekday, but it was soon quite busy. Our bar keep/server Bert was professional, friendly, and good company! We had entertaining conversations with him while he provided great service. Our freshly brewed ice teas were in huge oversized beer mugs, which we loved! The spinach artichoke dip with toasted crostini appetizer was out-of-this-world!! The smoked brisket sandwich and chicken Caesar wrap was mouth-watering delicious and the side of regular and sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp!!! Needless to say, we had a five star experience all the way around.

The difference here was that the eggs (over easy in my case) were cooked perfectly. The sausage patties were exceptionally well prepared, and some of the best I've had in recent memory. The potatoes were seasoned well, crispy on the outside, and pillowy soft on the inside. The biscuit was good too...obviously home made. My spouse's order was slightly different, with bacon and a waffle, but according to her review, it was equally well done. It was obvious that the staff loved what they're doing. The food was great, the service prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere leaned toward the charming side. It was simply a really good experience all the way around.

It's a bar in a hotel. Keep that in mind…read more This is a nice place. They usually have a good selection of beers on tap and ready to serve. It's much better than some of these older reviews show, as it was changed in about 2022 when the hotel changed and remodeled. I've been going for years now, and sure, there's staff turnover. And sometimes they don't always hire the best of the best. But sometimes they do. The food is good, the burgers are good. The service is usually good as well. It is more of a sports bar and sometimes there's live music, so if you're looking for a white tablecloth and black tie affair, this is not the place you're looking for. If you want some beers and burgers with some sports on the tele, stop on in!
