The moments he is able to capture that you would never even think of asking for will take your breath away. I am not one for the "posed" pictures. I want someone who can capture the moment, capture the feeling, make those looking at the pictures feel the emotion of that day. This is what John can do! His prices are a little shocking at first but honestly when I shopped around he was very comparable to others in the area and you will quickly learn that you cannot put a price on the quality of his work. Plus, he is willing to customize packages for you so DO NOT get sticker shock without spending some time to meet with him personally. I can guarantee, you will NOT regret it.

By the time the power was back up on photo day my session had already come to pass so here I am ripping and running trying to pick up the pieces and figure something out. By this time it was approx 5PM I had made several phones calls and couldn't get anyone to take us. I stumbled across this guy on google and he was very professional, understanding, and quick to respond to Justin's and my needs as to how our day went and what we were aiming to do in such short notice and at the drop of a dime. This man met us an hour later at our location, did a 2 hour unplanned session, he was very patient, had all of his things together, organized, professional, funny, very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. He made the photoshoot completely about us and what we wanted to do and had great pointers on helping us achieve the best photos we could have possibly have ever captured. Out of all the things we came into that day the moments that were spent with him definitely touched us and made us so much more appreciative of the little things and the small people that play big parts in something that was so important and close to our hearts. We can never thank him enough for what he's done for us but the least I could do as a human being is leave an heartfelt review on the services he provided us and brag on him as an individual and home quickly he came through for us. He literally rushed to our aid. His rates are very responsible, he's dependable, and flexible. If you're looking to have any photos taken I highly recommend John he is absolutely amazing and our pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined!

I visited their office in Northbrook and was shown to their super cool movie theater room. There Jeff explained the many options for videography and had so many video examples to show. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level. Jeff showed one example of an art themed bat-mitzvah where the young artist basically walked thru one of her paintings into a gallery of all of her art. I was sold and came home brainstorming many ideas for what we can do for my daughter's montage in a few years. Xpress was the only video production company I looked at and I immediately decided they were the one. Between our initial meeting, the Yelp reviews & glowing review from our planner I think they'd be tough to top!

My wife and I had our wedding photos done through John, the owner, and we couldn't have been more happy with how they turned out! He even stayed longer than the allotted time to make sure he caught all of the precious moments that happened throughout the night. The price was very reasonable compared to big photography studios and it was worth every penny! I would definitely go to John for other big events such as school pictures for kids, big family parties, etc. They offer a wide variety of options to choose from when you select a package. John is very cooperative and is willing to work around a budget and help you meet it, and won't try to force you to buy something you don't need. This company deserves a 5/5 rating completely and I look forward to doing business with John and his family again in the future. -Sean Burke

I just got married this past Saturday March 29th. Honestly I wasn't planning on hiring a…read morephotographer, I never budgeted for one. I thought that photography was completely out of our budget. We planned on utilizing a QR code. We knew everyone attending would have a cell phone, and most cell phones have incredible cameras attached to them. I saw an Ad on Facebook for Jolie Images, it was incredibly affordable. I thought it was a scam. I did research on the company and found out it was comprised, and owned by all females. I loved what they stood for. I decided to book them for my wedding. I contacted them and they were incredibly easy to deal with. My date was available so I put $100 down. They allowed me to pay what I could afford, and then pay the balance prior to the wedding day. I requested a female photographer. They have both male & female photographers. I ended up with Joanna, this was such a blessing. She took complete charge and suggested that I do a first look. This was my 2nd wedding and I didn't want to have anxiety or be nervous. Joanna knew exactly what I wanted and eased my anxiety. My first look had laughter instead of tears, since it was done, prior to me walking down the aisle. My husband and I were able to spend precious moments, prior to our ceremony getting all the butterflies out of the way. We even had a special moment and our first kiss . This was all captured. She got to know both families and their personalities. When certain family members pushed back with comments, she would joke back and tell them what to do, where to stand, and how to pose. During the exchange of the rings, the best man left the rings, upstairs. Joanna mentioned in the 27 years she has photographed weddings, she has never witnessed that. In a situation where I could have overreacted, I took a breath, saying to my husband and Pastor, that's ok. Then everyone started laughing. She never missed a beat. She is the Diamond at your company and she shone at our wedding. I am forever grateful that you sent us your most prized possession on my special day. It turned out the venue was just 6 miles away from her home, that was such a blessing. Well done Jolie Images you are fantastic! Keep on doing what you do making memories priceless, not expensive!

To say our pictures exceeded our expectations would be a gross understatement. They were amazing - breathtaking and beautiful, classy and inventive. The special effects he did to some of the shots were fantastic and unlike anything I've seen from other wedding photographers. He was so easy to work with from the beginning, planning stages through the delivery of our album and picture cd and everything in between. Countless friends and family have complimented us on his work, many commenting they wish THEY had used him for their wedding. You can tell from his work that he is more than a photographer, he is an artist. We took many fun pictures around the city - the lakefront, el stops, Wrigley, our favorite neighborhood bar, and they all turned out so well. I never felt "posed" and the way he used the landscape and architecture of the locations to frame out the pictures and tell our story was great. We didn't even hire a videographer, because we knew his pictures would tell the story better than any video ever could. Thank you Sam, for giving us something we'll cherish for life!
