There were a set number of pictures we could choose from those 90, and then an additional fee for other ones we wanted, but the best part is that she signed a release for us to own the negatives and mailed us the photos on a disc, so now we can print them for $0.11 each at Walgreens! She was friendly and professional, and the pictures look good. She did send us an extra disc with the ones we had selected with some photoshopping, but it was mainly color effects, like sepia and black and white, rather than cleaning up tan lines or stray hairs, which would have been nice. Still, an awesome deal and she's done lots of kinds of photos, from maternity to kids to author photos, etc.

Stephanie promptly responded to my email requesting a session (email so much easier than phone with a sleeping baby), flexible with the scheduling of said session, arrived at my home promptly with her little basket of cute photo props, and snapped away... And all the while being very personable and pleasant and open to my suggestions and desire for props and cute baby positions. I was left with a ton of images, the next one somehow cuter than the last and a fantastic one that we used for the baby party invite. We received so many compliments - people seriously amazed at how our little one was captured at only 2 weeks of age with a huge smile. I've given her info out to a ton of people and look to schedule her again in the coming months. Stephanie said that our daughter was the cutest ever. But I'm sure she says that to all the babes! Not only would I rather put together my own books, frames, etc...I'd rather not be charged an arm and a leg to collect all the pictures to do so. It was a simple process to get a convenient time for our portrait date. Jeff worked with me and my wife to suggest a good outfit and nice look for our 3 very young children and ourselves so that we would look and feel our best. Jeff posed us in a comfortable, fun way for at least 4 different styles or looks during the portrait session. Our children were ages 5, 3, and 1 at the time so it was kind of crazy with the kids but Jeff made it easy, stress-free, fun, and gave us all a great look. The guy is great with children and works seamlessly with each family to make it personalized and professional. The pictures look awesome. He captured dozens of great photos!! Now that we have 4 children we need to go back to Studio West and take pictures of our children again since they are older and look different.
