Since we were not able to invite everybody we wanted to our wedding because of the pandemic restrictions, we knew we wanted to find a great photographer so we could show photos to our friends and family who couldn't be there. We are so glad we chose H Photography for our wedding. Even though we only gave them short notice, Doru and Claudia were able to accommodate our plans. I was visiting my in-laws and we decided last minute to have a family photography session. Luckily Doru was available and was very easy to book and also change timing based on the chance of rain. He and his wife were very responsive over phone and email. Despite the light rain, we had a great session and received wonderful photos in a timely fashion as he promised. We booked with Doru for my wife's baby shower. We did a photo shoot at a nearby park with just us two and then headed over to a restaurant for the rest of the shower with all the guests. Amazing experience. We were looking for a civil courthouse wedding followed by downtown and Chicago skyline scenarios. Doru was so professional and knows all the details about this whole process: he suggested us going early on Saturday and he was ready to take shots at the scene. He even knows the secret hall way where we could fit the whole family and friends. He also led the way to walk through all theater district and millennium park, finding all the proper background to capture the big moments. We hired H photography for my daughters sweet sixteen after reading great reviews about their services. They did a phenomenal job at a very, very affordable price. Everybody in the family and friends just loved the pictures. I requested Doru to bring Drop back and create a studio type setting in the first couple of hours of the event to take portraits with all the guests. I worked with Doru for our backyard wedding. He came out in advance and walked around the entire neighborhood to find the best places for shots of everything. On the day of the event, he was not only completely professional, but also very friendly and great with our guests. He even managed to get great shots of the kids, who tend to be pouty in pics, but we have tons of smiling and happy shots. He even captured some great moments with our pup! From candids and whimsical photos to portraits and family shots, we have a spectacular set of images of our families and guests, and of the venue, which was a large tent in our yard. In the photos it looks like a professional venue with perfect shots from several vantage points. Our highlights were posted within days of the event, and we received a flash drive with print photo quality of all our images about 3 weeks after the day. We live in Arizona now but I grew up in the Algonquin area. I wanted our engagement photos to have some green scenery versus desert dirt so we decided to have our photos taken when we were in town a couple of weeks ago. Doru was great!
