Just an update. The manager found the keys to the new lock. I was able to get in and everything was there. Still have no idea why the lock was changed or why corporate ignored my calls and e-mails. At least the manager did her job. Do better corporate. read more

I called first to get.a storage unit then I showed up and Angela the manager who was very cold and evasive helped me to get a storage unit . Well the next month I had some unfortunate thing happen and I could not afford the storage and she sent me a letter stating I had to have my stuff out of the storage unit by the 8th so I showed up on the sixth to get my belongings out and she had already changed the locks I tried to reach her with no luck the 6th was on Sat. and 7th and 8th she had off so needless to say I got robbed by her. Don't get a storage unit her because she does not play by the rules and is down right criminal what she is doing!! read more

This is actually clearlake self storage now. The manager, Angela, did not honor my recipts to the company but forced me to pay all four of my storages again and after I paid again she said I had to pay an extra month for all of them since I was supposedly late. When I finally Paid it all again in full she left the locks on and then told me she was busy and she'd unlock them tomorrow. I have had nothing but problems ever since and I would never recommend this place to anyone read more

I never had a problem with the old owners of the storage facility for years until they sold the business and the new manager" scandgela " as we all now know her started off by charging me back fees for the the former owners and told me the receipts I had for them already being paid we're not going to be honored but I have to honor my end of my original contract so when I reluctantly did pay for the second time she collected my money and then informed me when I asked her to unlock the storages that I had to pay another month in advance to be able to access them. So when I paid that as well and asked her to unlock my storages she informed me she was busy and would do it the following day. It's been nothing but problems ever since I will never recommend this place to anybody as long as it's under this management. read more

When getting my storage at first everything went smoothly......the lady was very helpful and nice and even gave me a lock to which I didn't have when purchasing my storage. About after my second payment I had paid for two months because my check was a "good" check so I figured what the heck...pay for the next month too. Well...that second month came and the lady whom had helped me get my storage told me that my second payment was due. We argued over the phone for a good minute on how I paid for two months and that I had the bank statements to prove this.....she insisted that her nor her supervisor would honor a bank statement.....and then told me she had other customers to deal with and hung up on me. About a week later by boyfriend said just pay them for the second month so we don't get into a full confrontation with them. So my boyfriend took it upon himself and paid it for me. Two days later we go to our storage and they still had a red lock on it. My boyfriend called them that moment we saw the red lock and notified them that the storage was paid for and it needed to come off.....the next day the red lock was still on! I called and left a message (note the hours they have are only from 10am to 3 pm) about 445 the next day and stated that the red lock needs to come off before this has to go into legal matters. The red lock is still on my storage Long story short this company does not know how to run a company nor do they know how customer service is supposed to be ran I highly DO NOT repeat DO NOT recommend this company for your belongings to be stored. Please find a different MORE professional place. read more

B&k switched ownership overnight with no notice to the customers until several months after that. Now it is clear lake self storage and they do not honor any of the receipts you might have to prove that you paid prior to them taking over the business however they still expect you to fulfill every part of your contract and pay whatever they think you owe regardless of your proof and receipts. I was late on my bill for January and paid it including all late fees and with a zero balance on January 30th they refused to let me access any of my storages until I also pay for February even though I was planning on emptying my storages before February. They said it doesn't stop the lean process even though I paid everything that I owed. What a scam. The manager there is already been fired for fraud from her last job and is extremely rude and uncooperative with the customers. Even after I paid them money that I had already paid the previous owners because one of my storages wasn't paid off they wouldn't let me access the other three even though I had individual contracts for all of them. I encourage anybody else going through these kind of problems with the new management to call the better Business bureau or the attorney general and help put a stop to these fraudulent people who are now managing the facility. read more
