It's never packed here with plenty washers and dryers available. The washer and dryers work great. They have soap and other items available for purchase. I really enjoy that they have a tv playing when you come and some spots to sit while waiting for your clothes. Last but not least if your anything like me and don't carry cash on you, they have the option of sending the owner money on a app and they give you cash. Such as Venmo or Cash App. No worrries about leaving to get cash. Another nice perk is their frequent visit card. Once you have done so many washes, you get a free one! It's very convenient for the fact that you can check on your washing times on your phone. It's also nice not inserting 20 quarters however it's much more expensive in my opinion with up-charges. The machines work well but the laundromat is very dirty. I wouldn't dare use the bathroom. It seems like a rest stop for homeless people to hang in the chairs and to use the bathroom. We also had to deal with very mean teenagers bullying a man coming back and forth from checkers. It's very convenient to come here for late night loads considering we work late but I don't feel safe here alone or even with my partner at that rate. If you just need a place to get your clothes done at all hours of the day and don't mind transient people than this is your one stop laundromat.

I had no rain coat and was drenched to the bone and shivering when I appeared in the laundromat. I didn't need a wash, I needed a DRYER. Fast. Candace immediately offered me dry clothing while mine dried. She went well beyond just GOOD SERVICE: she took pity on a fool without a rain coat! Cape Laundry itself is a pleasure: open, bright and clean facility with rest room. It has many large, easily used machines. And, best of all, it has Candace, one of the most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting!
