My third massage, a 60 minute Swedish massage with hot stones, was just okay. The first two massages accommodated my requests for the masseuses to wear gloves because of my sensitive skin due to Eczema. But the third massage's masseuse didn't wear gloves even though I asked her to, and I decided not to get my head and feet massaged out of fear. read more

I was very disappointed by the unprofessional conduct here. After leaving a 15% tip--which was fair for a mediocre, grade-C massage--I was asked twice to increase it to 28%. That kind of pressure is completely unacceptable and ruined the experience. I also couldn't help but notice that other non-Chinese customers didn't seem to be treated this way, which makes the situation even more concerning. Clear Lake Spa - The Best Massage for Back/Hip/Leg Pain Relief! Have been searching around for a massage place for my back and hip pain, and highly recommend Clear Lake Spa for a great massage! I injured myself several years back going to snap city while lifting, and just bike/hike/run now, but my lower body has been perpetually stiff and inflexible. I've been through physical therapy and chiropractors in the past, and have a TENs + inversion table at home, but I usually try to get a massage each month just to relax and unwind - my version of a spa treatment. Most places are just too soft with how tight my back/hips/legs are, but here comes Clear Lake Spa! My masseuse Angela was nothing short of fantastic! She immediately understood the level of pressure needed for my specific issues, thoroughly targeting all my pain areas with impressive effectiveness. Angela knew precisely where all the pressure points were right away, working them instantly to great effect. She targeted my specific pain areas (back/hips/legs) and focused on those areas after I explained to her all my ailments. To paraphrase my experience, I got sent to the shadow realm (in a good way) At the end they offer hot stones or cupping as an add on option - I chose the cupping and recommend that option for those who really enjoy a deep tissue experience (note: you'll be a bit sore afterwards). The marks afterwards can indicate how effective the cupping treatment was - I definitely benefited from it! If you're in the Milpitas/South Fremont/North San Jose region and are looking for an affordable and effective massage, Clear Lake Spa is a fantastic option! You can always communicate your preference level for massage, but I can absolutely recommend this establishment for those with a higher pain tolerance level who need serious, effective treatment. I had a delicate and painful neck problem and my lovely masseuse solved it for me! She even gave me tips on how to do maintenance myself if it's still tender for a little while. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I had a ninety minute massage. I tipped about 20% and she said I should tip her 30%. Good for her! I used to be a regular at Paradise Spa in Milpitas after Mai left, and while they were good, Ocean is truly on another level. I decided to walk in and give them a try -- and I'm glad I did. I asked for heavy pressure, and Lily delivered exactly what I needed, all while checking in to make sure it wasn't too intense. She's a true professional -- thorough, attentive, and covered everything. Take my word for it but you must give them a try. I'm sure the other masseuses are great based on the reviews, but I'm sticking with Lily. I'm a fan now -- wherever she goes, I'll follow. read more

I went to the place on 6/4/2025. I paid $70/hour. The room had a nice LED humidifier. The masseuse used both elbows and hands. I felt good after the head massage. At the end, I tipped her $20. There are 3 masseuses daily. I think I will come again with other masseuse. read more

This is a great place. Very clean interior.. "newer" but I could be wrong??...Anyways.. I would recommend Lucy here as I have been going to see Lucy for years now. She is very professional, courteous/friendly to talk to, and can get out any muscle spasms/knots you may have. She knows the body and is really skilled and very professional at what she does. I have read and heard all the therapist here are also very very good. However, I have yet to try any of the others. I've only seen Lucy. I'd try her first and If she isn't your cup of tea, (for whatever reason) then they usually have a couple others there at the same time (3-4 MTP's usually working at any given time?) that I have read in the reviews (Yelp & google) and from others, they are all excellent as well and will get any knots & what not out. This spa is managed and well ran so I wouldn't doubt the others are as advertised as well. It is a very clean place, with modern laminate flooring and just has a very clean interior and is welcoming, inviting and a great place to relax and forget about the day to day stressors. I'd highly recommend whether you have sports injuries, or just want a relaxing professional massage. I am sure there is someone for everyone here at Clear Lake.
