I just started pool service through Clear Choice Pool Service. Matthew has been great to work with. He explained very clearly what the chemical issues with my pool were from. I had been doing all the maintenance myself. I would take samples to a local pool supply for analysis and consultation on chemicals. They never explained that the key issue was high phosphate levels. Matthew did a partial pool drain, dialed in the chemicals and in about a week the pool was looking better than it had in years. read more

Started Clear Choice over a year ago, and I have to say, best decision ever. Matthew is very informed on water and all it's crazy conditions, and makes recommendations that will fit your budget. I seriously needed a new pump, and he gave me the information on different pumps in a way I could understand it, told me why he recommended a certain model for my pool, then installed it. I'm saving a lot on a more efficient pool pump, so I'm very happy with the whole transaction. Things went so well that we decided to have weekly service on our pool and spa to keep them clean (no more green pool) and have the chemicals balanced. I had used several pool/spa services over the years with my home in San Diego giving me a reference for what a hi end level of a pool/spa service can really look like. With the number of pool/spa services in San Diego and the competition for work helps one understand what the meaning a high-level service looks like and being able to recognize what a hack is and what generally bad service can look like. It can be hard to tell if someone is really taking care of your pool/spa or just throwing chemicals at it. Matt @ Clear Choice has proven to be at the top of the list of the Best kind of service available. His service is Top Notch. Fast response and an agreeable personality make him very easy to deal with. It is obvious he really knows what he is doing and cares about his customers. When I've asked for his guidance he has never steered me wrong, always giving me honest, straight forward answers to my questions.
