Cleanway Car Wash charges a 3% fee for paying with a credit card. This is excessive since a get only 1% back from my bank.

Carefull workers will steal items from your car! Missing rear car mats! Didn't notice until 1 hour later and went back! I was verbally insulted, and shown a altered video the was cut and did not show the full recording of the car cleaning! Will never go back! I can replace my mats that not the issue! This car wash used to be great -- I guess there is a new owner. I brought my car there yesterday, and they did a miserable job. It was very cold, and I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when I got home and looked over my car closely, there were scratches all over the car. Clean Way Hand Car Wash is a decent local Car Wash that always does a pretty solid job each time I come here. As the name implies it's a non machine set up where the conveyor moves Your vehicle through while workers wash and rinse by hand under an overhead spray system. I think it's a better setup than the rolling brushes because workers can actually see where your vehicle needs the most attention and deal with scrubbing and washing on a visual basis. It just makes for a better wash imo. They also do a car detailing business here but I can't speak to that portion of this Car Wash as I've never had that done here. read more

I specifically pointed out that the back seat needed extra attention because of my kids climbing in and out of their car seats with their shoes on the seats. Despite this, the workers didn't put much effort into the wiping/scrubbing. My car was still visibly dirty all over the interior. Also, the vacuums must not have great suction. I ended up re-vacuuming and wiping down the interior when I got home. I paid for the Platinum full service package at over $30 (and left a $10 tip incorrectly assuming they did a decent job). The outside wash results were fairly standard. I did not like that they used the same brush on the tires as they did for the rest of the car since tires tend to have debris that may scratch the car's paint. I also had to rub some spots that were more stubborn and overlooked by the workers. Btw, some parts of the internet show this as a hand wash--it is not. It's a machine wash with rollers through and your car is on a track. Long story short, this was my first and last visit. I will not be returning. read more

Meant to write this review back in August. I went here and sprung for The Works Super Plus, primarily because I wanted to get dog hairs out of the back carpet and figured why not. Being the top option on their menu outside the complete detailing, you'd figure it would offer quality they could stand by. And you would figure wrong. What they call "super vacuum"... isn't so super. So here's what you do. Go on Amazon, get yourself a shop vac if ya don't ready have one, get yourself a Chemical Guys wash and a wax, maybe a spray bottle of Invisibe Glass, maybe some Turtle Wax for interior, the break out the hose and bucket, and just do it yourself on a weekend. You'll save money and be a lot less disappointed by the results. Just make sure ya spray the underneath especially with the winter road salt and such. So many of these drive through car washes offer mediocre results, meanwhile full detailing is gonna cost you a LOT. So unless you have a high budget, a car fetish, and a car purdy enough to really want it all shiny and whatnot, make the initial investment and get the exercise of doing the occasional wash yourself. Even if you just want a quick solution, you'll probably be less frustrated with the results. read more

THE SHORT STORY: Terrible experience... THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN PAINT DAMAGE - STAY AWAY! The owner is a total scumbag that would not honor a gift card issued by his store. DETAILED STORY: I was excited to get my car detailed as it needed a good waxing. I made an appointment and dropped off my car at the scheduled time. The cashier asked me if they gave me a price for the exterior only detail. I said, "No, but I have a coupon from your website that says exterior only detail $119.99". They told me it would take about 4 hours so I had my wife drive me home. Upon returning to pick up my car, I went to the office to pay using a $100 gift card (issued by the car wash) and cash for the remainder of the balance. The cashier got the owner since she couldn't figure out how to apply the gift card. The owner came in already angry and told me that she would not accept the gift card since it has been defaced. Defaced? He said I removed the bar code to scan and got even more angry as I explained to him that is the way I received the gift card and it was clearly not tampered with. He then accused me of "bamboozling" him and stated that I cheated him because I told the cashier the price for an exterior detail was $119.99. I explained it was on his website but he insisted that it was a $200 job but honored the $119.99. Angry, I paid for it all in my credit card to simply get my keys back. I left quickly and as I got home I actually looked at my car. THEY DESTROYED THE PAINT ON MY HOOD BY SEVERELY OVER BUFFING MY CAR. I took it to a body shop to determined how this could have happened and the response was simple: negligence. To add insult to injury look at how they cleaned my windows. read more

I used to go here all the time for years because it was a hand-carwash and a very good one. Sadly, that is no longer the case. They have now installed automatic machines and are the same as any other carwash. If they go back to handwashing I will consider returning , otherwise, they are just like any other carwash now. read more

I literally just left this place and i see my car in the sun. The car IS STILL DIRTY!!!! There are still water spots (sprinkler at home) all over my vehicle, the driver's side window is still dirty do are the mirrors. I paid an extra $19.99 for some spray wax that i really could have done myself. This place is horrible. How does the car still remain dirty after being "washed"? I should've just gone to my regular place but since this was nearby I figured I'd go there. Now I'm out of $35 for a service that wasn't even performed!! Don't waste your money going there!! PISSED!! Then I call to get my money back and I'm given a hard time. The mgr is telling me to bring the car back. Why would I drive all the way there for them to NOT wash my car yet again?? There was a pretty long line, but I have to say it was definitely worth the wait ! They did such a great job cleaning the car inside and out (hands-on literally) definitely tip these hard working crew! I can't wait to comeback nothing like a clean car before I head back home to philly! read more

Ok, i gave them a chance for an oil change. i tried to tell them that my truck has a different process you have to follow, i got "he knows what he is doing". yeah right. they caused over 800.00 in damage. my truck you need to drop the skid plate, easy process, they did that ok. but when you put it back on, it needs to be torqued properly. not just put on with an impact wrench. well they stripped the bolts and bent the plate. i turned it into my insurance and i am waiting for my deductible. if that wasnt bad enough... they lubed my driveshaft, like any oil change would involve then tried to tack on 80.00 for it... WHAT???? that is part of the oil change. the tech who knew what he was doing didnt know how to charge for it, or do an oil change. but wait. then you are given a piece of paper and you need to go to the car wash to pay. WHAT????? but its all good, you get a free car wash. they did ok, for just the outside. and please dont expect them to wipe it all down, your luck if you get most of it. oh yeah, now the last complaint, they charge more than the dealer and do less, a lot less. needless to say i will not be back, i will never be back and i suggest you all do the same, stay far away read more

Used to frequent this place more often years ago and I needed a car wash and this was my closet option. The workers are nice and friendly however my car came out looking terrible. I had to pour water on a towel when I got to my next stop while running errands. My car was so dirty! I was able to get the dirt off slowly while scrubbing the towel. I won't be going back. Gross. I made an appointment for interior detailing days in advance. Brought my car in at 8am Friday, was told to pick it up by 1pm at the latest. By 5 pm, I hadn't received a call (what??!) so I called them. They told me my car would be ready by noon the next day. Yes, my friends, almost 24 hours late. The manager claimed that his staff was tired. Why wasn't my car the first one they worked on, since I dropped it off when they opened? When I complained that I had to pay for a car service to drive me around, and asked for a discount for the inconvenience, they refused. Instead, they told me that if I paid in cash, they would give me a coupon worth $20 for a car wash. What is that going to do for me??! I paid for the Gold package and honestly they didn't even vacuum my car. my inside looked like the same when I took it in. I had to show my receipt to get the tire shine. When I was called to get my car, the mats were not cleaned properly, the dashboard was still dusty, the seats still had spots and crumbs within the seams and the wheels were not cleaned. He pulled down his mask which was below his nostrils and the discussion became about me not that the the services were not completed. This place used to rock, but lately it's gone way down hill . Twice I had preset appointments for a full detail. On both occasions they made excuses why they couldn't perform the service. I made the last detail appointment this morning for an afternoon detail. I took off work and arranged for someone to pick me up. When I arrived, I was told they couldn't do it because it was too cold...boo hoo. It's 28 degrees, sunny and no wind. Would not recommend this car wash! Had gone there a few years ago, and they damaged my vehicle. They are conveniently located to my home, so I figured I would give them a second chance. I was charged for services that where not preformed. They charged a extra sanitation fee that was not done. No tire shine was used. The car still dirty when they completed the wash. Pretty poor job here. Went here twice first time was ok, except after my car went through the wash it just sat at the exit for about 5 mins with about 6 workers standing around doing nothing. The interior never got cleaned. I took a different car this time around and went for the AAA works super plus assuming id get a better clean and this car really needed a good vacuuming and I noticed the super vacuum treatment in the AAA. Long story short there was definitely no super vacuum. It was 2 guys barely 30 seconds and no different than every car going through. Outside was still dirty pollen and dirt still on the windows and in the door jams. Really disappointed with my experience here I have brought a few cars here and always thought they've done a decent job. Brought my new Mini Cooper here and paid for the works wash plus wax $32. Mats were not cleaned fully and there was residue and water spots all over the car not to mention greasy film all over the interior. Also was supposed to come with an air freshener which I didn't receive. Didn't seem like there was any more attention given to my $32 wash than a basic car wash.
