On the other hand, on my last trip through (on a crowded Saturday morning), the line stopped several times. That's not fun if you're claustrophic. And then, when I got to the end, the pickup truck in front of me had his brakes on and was hitting his horn. Because the self-serve vacuum/wipe area was crowded, and there were cars waiting to go there, and there was no room to exit the car wash. I ended up having the car behind ME hit my bumper, and I hit the bumper of the pickup truck. (Softly, but, come on: this never should have happened.) It took several minutes for the staff to show up and wrangle the traffic enough for a couple of cars to get out of the wash. I left, because there wasn't a safe place to wait, and drove my car out of there wet and un-vacuumed. If you're going to build a car wash without enough stalls for drying/vacuuming, you should not be putting cars into the wash before you're sure there's room for them to get out on the other end. TL;DR: Too crowded, cars run through the wash close together, the line kept stopping, the exit was blocked, cars were bumping into each other, had to leave without drying or vacuuming. Kind of overpriced for this experience, I think.

Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

Plus, of course, $943 for the 2 sensors which I wanted to have replaced. These 2 oxygen sensors by Bosch, on-line, cost under $100 each. Wipers had been replaced not even a month ago. This casts doubt on the whole list they "suggested" needed to be fixed. Please be careful when bringing your car in here. He will try to upsell you a laundry list of what he wants to do to your car. Whether your car needs it or not is debatable.

I noted I just needed an oil change on the online intake form as well as on the drop off envelope when I brought my car in after hours. At first I was impressed with the quick scheduling (next day service) and text updates/reminders this morning during my appointment slot. I was then sent an inspection report of all their findings that needed future or immediate attention as well as everything that was in good working order (I didn't ask for this, just an oil change). I called to ask for a quote on everything they were recommending since some of the report findings were concerning, which I received quickly. I assumed the oil change I requested was complete by this point and it was just a matter of looking at all the other issues and making a decision on next steps. I asked that they include the oil change service on the quote for my visibility and they did. When I started reviewing the quote I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the oil change at the top of the estimate. How in the world does it cost $166 for an oil change?! I've NEVER paid this amount for a single service in the 12+ years I've owned this car, not even at a dealership. I drive a 2009 Toyota Yaris with less than 100K miles, not an SUV, truck, or luxury car... a Yaris. At most I've paid $75 and even that was on the high end. Once I saw the cost of the oil change and paid, I decided I will never return to Automotive Magic or recommend them to anyone. The cost of the service was outrageous. I believe there are some things listed on their report that need attention, but I'll never give any more money to this business after feeling completely ripped off. I know a few garages up the road from me that are reputable, reasonably priced, and have done great work in the past on my car, they just don't have the online convenience which I can deal with from now on if price gouging is the alternative.

You drive your car to the back of the shop where there are 2 lanes. A mechanic will tell you which lane to go to and will ask you a series of questions. There is a car scent (choose a scent from lemon, vanilla, clean car, or baby powder), vacuum, windshield wash, and 14-point check included for no extra charge! I sat in the waiting room for maybe 10 minutes before my name was called saying they were done! Very impressed with how quickly they were able to complete everything and my car feels and smells good as new! The staff were extremely professional and did not recommend unnecessary extras. There was no reason for C & L to touch that headlight. I ended up paying to replace the bulb. I would not trust these people with any of my cars ever again. Shady if you ask me.
