Sacramento Storm Rain Gutter Service - Gutter guards (EasyOn, Costco) as installed by Sacramento Storm.

Shawn also installed about 30 feet on gutter screens on an area subject to heavy leaf fall. They did an excellent job cleaning the gutters + hosed down all the debris that had been removed from the gutters. I would definitely hire Sacramento Storm again as Shawn was prompt, courteous and very professional.

My experience with Sacramento Storm Rain Gutter Service: On 1/25/23, the owner of Sacramento Storm…read moreRain Gutter Service came to our house to give an estimate to clean the gutters. We thought we had about 400 linear feet of gutter to clean. We learned later that we only had about half of that to clean as the house already had gutter guard on a lot of the 2nd story gutters. He charged $1,250 to clean the 200 linear feet that didn't already have gutter guards (more than half of his original quote as he said he couldn't just cut the original quote in half). We agreed after the cleaning to have them install gutter guards on the remaining 200 linear feet. On the day Sacramento Storm arrived to install the gutter guards, I asked the owner to show me what product they would be using; I told him that after I stayed up late doing research on the different types of gutter guards, I wanted the guard that had the raised embossed design consistent with GutterGlove's LeafBlaster Pro product. He went to the back of his truck and returned with an empty box of product with the raised pattern design and said that is what he would use (he later said he only showed that to me because I asked about it and that he did not say that is what he would be installing). I only came out a few times during the installation because the installers were throwing cut pieces of the guard from the roof which I had not been warned about, and when I did come out, I was surprised to see that the men were working from the 2nd story roof with no form of fall protection. I questioned during the install why the pieces were not tightly butted up against one another (I could see a lot of the guard from my second story windows), and the owner shouted to the man on the roof to (paraphrasing), 'put them as tight together as you can'. I had in my mind that butting them against each other would have been standard procedure per the installation instructions. When it was safe to come out after they were done (it took approximately three hours for the owner and his two employees to install the 200'), I asked if the product they were throwing off the roof was what they installed, and he said, "yes", referring to the standard DIY grade product you buy at home improvement stores, and not the Pro product that has the embossed raised pattern design and 40-year instead of 25-year manufacturer warranty. I would have asked sooner but it just didn't occur to me with my fear of being fallen on from the men on the roof when they were working above our courtyard. In checking with the manufacturer of the installed product, Gutterglove, they said that neither the owner nor Sacramento Storm Rain Gutter Service were one of their certified installers. I paid an additional $4,350 to Sacramento Storm for the DIY grade gutter guards, for a total with cleaning of $5,600., or $28 per linear foot. Some photos of install attached. In my opinion, I did not get the product I was promised nor the quality installation job I thought I was paying for. My recommendations: Know how many linear feet you need so you can determine their price per linear foot; check if they are manufacturer certified installers for the product they plan to install; ask if they comply with Cal-OSHA approved fall protection requirements if they plan to work from the roof (I assumed that gutter guard installation was done off of ladders alone but learned otherwise); ask if the gutter cleaning before install is included or an additional cost; get more than one quote. Michael arrived right on time and immediately made an excellent impression. He is incredibly friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He was very patient and took a great deal of time to listen to my concerns, carefully inspect the current issues with my house, and explain the conditions and my repair and replacement options. I really appreciated how thorough he was and how he wanted to make sure he understood every issue so his company could provide an effective, practical, and competitive quote that truly meets my house's needs. What impressed me most was Michael's diligence and genuine concern for his customer. He even came back a few days later with an updated repair plan, showing how committed he is to making sure everything is done thoughtfully and correctly. He is not only highly knowledgeable in his field, but also honest, kind, patient, and attentive. Thank you so much, Michael, for your time, professionalism, and dedication! After another company gave me a pretty outrageous price, I called City Gutters, who evaluated my situation over the phone. After texting several photos, they said they could replace it for their minimum price per job and scheduled me for two days later. I won't be able to see it in action until the next heavy rain obviously, but it looks well-made. I'm glad I got a second opinion after the other company tried to convince me my style of gutters was so hard to work with, hence the high price. The tech built and installed my new downspout in about an hour. I won't hesitate to reach out to them again.

A few days before the appointment, Kyle, the technician, called to make sure he understood exactly what I was looking for. He was attentive, responsive, and professional throughout the process and arrived on time for the inspection. Kyle thoroughly inspected my concrete tile roof and then walked me through his findings in a clear, approachable, and professional manner. He showed me the photos he had taken and explained what he was seeing. He even repositioned a concrete roof tile that had shifted out of place and reconnected a gutter hook that had come loose during the inspection. Afterward, he sent me a link to clear, high-resolution photos from the inspection. Most importantly, he was honest and straightforward in letting me know that my roof did not need any repair or maintenance work at this time. I really appreciated the professionalism, thoroughness, communication, and transparency. I would highly recommend Straight Line Roofing, and especially Kyle, to anyone looking for a roof inspection or evaluation.

They set clear expectations from the start and communicated well throughout the entire project. They worked hard and were completely responsible and accountable. At one point they accidentally broke a skylight, but instead of cutting corners, they went above and beyond to get it repaired properly and made it right. They also cleaned up thoroughly after every single day of work, which we really appreciated. The finished roof looks even better than it did before. I also want to recognize Jose and Adrian. When the inspector required additional work on the roof, Jose took the time to clearly explain the cost differences so we knew exactly what we were paying for and why. I had a lot of questions about the cost breakdown for the sheeting, and it was pretty confusing to me, but Jose was so patient and kept explaining it different ways until it finally clicked. Adrian set us up with our initial consultation and spent over an hour working through pricing with us to get us a great deal. He respected my budget and kept it at the forefront the whole time, which made me feel truly seen and heard. Anytime I had a question or needed help with financing, he was there for me. This whole team was trustworthy, detail-oriented, and easy to work with from the first consultation to the final walkthrough. Highly recommend!!!
