I had a move-out cleaning scheduled with this company and asked for a Certificate of Insurance…read more (COI) before the job. This is something I request from anyone working on my property to make sure both parties are covered in case of damage or injury. I work in property insurance, so this is a standard precaution I recommend to my own clients. I actually hired them in 2020 for a cleaning and it went fine, which is why I reached out again. This time, the company told me they had never been asked for a COI by a client before, and shortly after, they cancelled my appointment, saying they felt I was "setting them up." I was surprised by this reaction, as reputable service providers typically have liability insurance and can provide proof without issue. Because they refused to provide a COI and cancelled my booking, I cannot speak to the quality of their current work. However, I would caution other homeowners that if you want to ensure a vendor is insured, this may not be the right company for you.

They gave us a 4 hour arrival time window and Jose and Theresa were both very good about keeping us updated, which helped us manage our schedule while waiting for them to arrive. The work that James did was just fantastic! I used another company once before and the stains that…read morethey said were clean kept coming back. Not so with AGC! The whole house looks as good as new. We also had them clean the tile in the kitchen. Our grout had become very dirty and James went over the grout by hand and sealed the grout to prevent any staining. He did such a good job I had him do both bathrooms! Excellent service, communication, pricing and follow up! He even educated me on best practices for maintaining my floors. I will definitely be calling on AGC the next time my carpets are due for a cleaning!

AGC offers top notch quality with extraordinary service, at a very competitive price…read more From the AGC website I was directed to a local contact for a free estimate. The estimation process was specific to my job in Elk Grove, which included a whole-house carpet cleaning and a sofa cleaning. The quoted price was lower than I expected, and the technician was available sooner than expected. Our technician James arrived promptly. An excellent communicator, he worked with us to plan his time with us. The coaching jobs took quite a bit longer than expected, but he honored the original price. James even did some extra cleaning for us without an extra charge. We are very pleased with the results. Some of our high-traffic areas were looking dirty and ugly. After James' thorough cleaning, those areas look as good as new. I highly recommend AGC, and specifically honor James as the exemplar for courtesy and professionalism.

Beware the bait and switch…read more I got a quote from "Amanda" on 2/13. I had asked them to send someone to put the quote together but she said they do quotes over the phone only. I specifically told her how many stairs there were and how they were configured. When "Casey" arrived, he refused to honor the quote and said that because the stairs were broken up in sections, there would be a 20% additional charge. (This put the "real" price well over a quote from Coit, who did the quote in person.) At this point I had already spent the better part of a day moving furniture, etc., and had arranged to be home for the day to accommodate Stanley's schedule. I complained immediately to the company and was told "a manager will be reaching out to you shortly." No response. The technician was very aggressive and spent the entire time he was here trying to sell me additional and unnecessary services and offering "free demos" of services I told him I did not want. He also refused to take any action on stains that I showed him ahead of time unless I agreed to the "Protection" and "Deodorize" add-ons. (The carpeting is only a year old.) The stains were unchanged following the "regular" cleaning. Do not use this service.
