Always above Mendozas Cleaning Services will change your life-- I'm not joking!!! The most thoughtful and helpful cleaners I've ever had. I called Amparo on Saturday and they were able to give me a quote in an hour. They were busy that Saturday, but they made time for us for the following day. Amaro and her husband cleaned our home very well, especially the bathroom and kitchen. I would highly recommend Amparo for all your cleaning services! Amparo cleaned the house for about 4 hours and I couldn't be more happy with the results! read more

Earlier this month (Dec 2023) I wrote a 5 Star review for Amparo and her staff from Mendoza Cleaning in San Francisco. They had just completed "Deep Cleaning" (More like Deep Scouring) 0ur upstair's large kitchen, two-baths, bedroom, living room and dining room. The results blew us away. The very next day we called Amparo and scheduled a "deep cleaning" for our downstairs. Our downstairs consists of a large rec-room, '80's style bath-room and a bedroom. My wife and I in the past always did the house work together. In truth, however, the downstairs had received a mere "lick and a promise" from us for decades. And it showed in grit and grime. That is why when we came down to view the results of 3 1/2 hours toil by Amparo and 3 wonderful assistants, we were amazed and astounded at the change. When I stepped into the bath I uttered my favorite expression of shocked surprise, "Holy Toledo!" Two more "Holy Toledo's" followed as we toured the renewed downstairs. How they were able to bring back the original bath, tile colors is a mystery to me. The floor tile had gone from prison-grey to hospital-white. Holy Toledo! Afterwards, while speaking with Amparo, she says she loves her work. She enjoys it to the point that when she finishes a job, she leaves little flights of fanciful, paper designs to express it and if it brings a smile to the client's face, all the better. Mary Lou and I recommend wholeheartedly to all, but especially to our aging peers who, like us, find the need for help, in keeping their home fresh. We have found an honest, hard working company whose fees are worth every penny. J.C. read more

We hired Amparo and Ismael to deep clean our house, and they went above and beyond our very high expectations! They paid attention to every detail in our house, cleaning light switches, fixing a broken shelf in our bathroom, folding our socks, cleaning our lamp shades. They made our windows open more smoothly and our stove, sink, and tub look brand new. Truly professional work! Worth every penny. If you're thinking about hiring them, just do it... you will be so happy! read more

Grateful for Ampara who did a great job with my move-out cleaning. After another company was a no-show, I reached out to Ampara and she was available the very next morning. She and her colleague got my 3 bed, 3 bath home done in 4 hours. Everything was very very clean and looked just like before my tenants moved in. Price was extremely reasonable. Sometimes language can be a barrier, but it was very easy to communicate with Ampara and she responds very quickly through text. Great service and reasonable price. Will definitely be using Mendoza cleaning service again. read more

I can't get over how incredible my place looks!!!!!!!!! It is a before and after transformation!!!!!!!!!! Amparo and Ismael have bar none done the best cleaning job I have ever experienced. I am so very impressed!!! They are phenomenal cleaners--very thoughtfully organized in the way that they clean. That your place will be spotless is a given with them...the fact that they go above and beyond to deliver such smart organization of a level I could never achieve myself is the most commendable. Believe me, my place was a just-moved in mess before they cleaned today! I am so damn impressed and completely humbled by the sheer brilliance and hard work it took to get my place from barely moved in, into a beautiful and comfortable living space. Everything was put into place with such intention and purpose. Amparo even was so kind as to come and evaluate my place to give me a fair quote for the job. Of course, I tipped a nice amount on top of what she quoted because I knew just how tough the job would be. (I felt comfortable enough giving them a set of keys and leaving them to clean while I went to work, so I paid and tipped before I left for the day.) They have exceeded my expectations by far greater than what I could have thought possible. Please, please do yourself a huge favor and hire these lovely people to clean your place!!! read more

Amparo, Ismael and their team are amazing people and they go above and beyond to make sure your house is clean and you are satisfied. We hired them for a deep clean and I have never seen such professionalism and immaculate attention to detail. I absolutely loved their work and can't recommend them enough! They have years of experience and it shows, I feel lucky to have found them. read more

This crew was amazing! I had them come in for deep cleaning and was truly impressed as the rooms appeared to be a different color. They even got on the top of a tall hard to reach cabinet that had not been cleaned in close to 10 years. I definitely will go business with them again read more

We got in touch with Amparo through a referral from one of our friends. We spoke on the phone and checked out her references and made the decision to hire her to come the next morning. We wanted our bathroom, kitchen, and especially our windows to be cleaned. To say the least, she did a phenomenal job. I could see my reflection on the windows, our bathroom was spotless and she even cleaned our sofas. She also organized my roommates room impeccably. We are definitely going to hire her to come at least once a month. Her prices were fair, even for two people. Thank you so much! read more

I hired Amparo to clean just our bathroom and kitchen, respectively my wife's and my most hated rooms to clean. We were about to host a party, and I suggested we try out a cleaning service, just to save us some time. We figured they would do a similar job to what we could do, and we were just buying ourselves time to take care of other party planning. Boy were we wrong. Our bathroom and kitchen sparkled like we've never been able to make them, and likely never will - until the next time we hire Amparo. "Of course," we thought, in unison, as we ran our fingers along each beautifully clean surface. "This is what hiring a professional is all about." My wife and I then proceeded to clean the living room, cursing all the while that we hadn't contracted Amparo to do the whole apartment, having figured we only wanted to hire someone for the 2 worst rooms. Next time we host a party, the whole place is getting the Mendoza treatment. Consultation and key hand-off was a snap, rate was competitive. I have found my cleaning service! read more

I was referred to Amparo by my neighbor and she came the next day after I reached out! This is my first time using a cleaning service to clean my home and I have to say, I'm can't believe I've never done it before. I'm getting married in 2 weeks and I have family coming into town, and to be quite honest, ain't nobody got time for dusting, mopping, and cleaning! I must say, I AM VERY IMPRESSED with the quality of work that Amparo put into cleaning my home. She is very detailed and thorough. She organized my pantry, spices, and entire bathroom. I didn't even ask her to do so, which blows my mind. If you're looking for quality, detail, and affordability, I highly recommend Amparo! I will be using her services again in the future! read more

Amparo and her husband did an excellent job cleaning my apartment. They are both thorough and efficient when working. After they finished, my apartment looked better then the day I moved in! As an added bonus they fixed my sink handle which had been broken for months! read more

Amparo and her team did the best job ever. I contacted her on Friday, and she said the earliest she could do is Monday. However, I needed cleaning right-the-heck-now. She said she'd check her calendar, and around 10:30 pm she texted me saying that she can actually come on Saturday. I had to leave super early, and she showed up while I was still there (exactly on time). The house was super messy, we've moved here only recently, but she did such a great job!!! Here are two photos of before and after, and also some magic she did with our bed and with toilet paper (who would expect that?). She and her colleague spent about 5 hours in the house, and the price is totally fine for that amount and quality. At least I know that I don't have to clean anything after her (which did happen with other cleaners). Literally, I tried 5 different cleaners in 2 countries, and this one is the best and far ahead of anybody else. UPDATE: I forgot to leave money last time Mrs Amparo was cleaning my house, and she came a few days later to pick up pay. She didn't just pick up pay - she also cleaned whatever mess was already there. For free. She's amazing. read more

I am beyond thrilled that I listen to all the great yelp reviews about Amparo and her services. I hired her a few days ago to come clean my home for the first time and it has honestly never looked this fantastic. My apartment is sparkling!! Amparo did an amazing job and she is so friendly and nice to be around. We got the entire apartment and balcony cleaned. It has never looked this clean before. Amparo does a fantastic job cleaning my place! I have two young boys plus a cat and it is always chaos here. She really works some sort of magic to make each room so super sparkly clean. Really, it is such a joy knowing that Amparo will be coming to make my house look fantastic again (she comes biweekly). She does an excellent job in the kitchen too, which I think is the hardest room to clean as it is dark. On top of that she is a really kind and sweet person and a total joy to welcome in. I will be recommending her to all my friends. Thanks Amparo! read more

Amparo comes to clean our apartment every 2 weeks. She is reliable, efficient and very friendly :) It is always a pleasure to come back to a clean home. Amaparo has been our cleaner for 4 years and has been consistently amazing. Her cleaning is of a very high standard and she is a great organizer, especially with our washing. There is a lot to do in our house as we are a family of five and she manages it all incredibly well. Amparo is trustworthy and reliable - she hasn't missed a week's cleaning in all the time she has worked for us. I don't no what we would do without her weekly visits! I highly recommend her. read more

Karla and Amparo are our miracle cleaning ladies. They came highly recommended from a friend and we couldn't be happier! Our previous cleaner was just a "surface cleaner" and after a year of having to actually clean after our cleaner came we were over it. In came Karla and Amparo and our flat is shining bright like a diamond. They got the mold off of the ceiling in one of our bathrooms, made everything sparkle and even made roses out of the toilet paper! Who doesn't like roses made from toilet paper? They were even accommodating to our allergies and "SF ways" of only using organic non-scented products. We are always excited to come home to a clean house after Karla and Amparo have come, can't recommend them enough! read more

I needed to move on a tight timeline and didn't have time to clean my apartment after vacating the unit. My property manager recommended Mendoza's Cleaning Services and it was a great choice. They met with me to go over my needs in advance. The morning of my move, I left them a cleaning checklist provided by the property manager. Mendoza's exceeded my expectations: they not only completed all items on the list, they cleaned the blinds and the hardwood floors as well. They sent me pictures to confirm their work so I knew they had done what was agreed. But the best testament to the quality of their service is that I received a 100% refund of my security department exactly one week after vacating. Since the amount totaled two months rent in my current location, this was a great financial boon. Thank you, Mendoza! Highly recommended. read more

I rarely give any business five stars, but Amparo and her team absolutely deserve it. I was raised by Italian parents so when it comes to cleaning, we don't slouch. We hold ourselves to very high standards and clean regularly and thoroughly. I hire Amparo for the weeks I am very busy, or sick or on vacation. We're originally from Canada and I had a trusted cleaning service I used in Toronto, but when I moved here and hired Mendoza's Cleaners they put my old cleaners to shame. Their attention to detail is astounding; they get right under into places even I don't always go. They spend hours and hours scrubbing, cleaning, polishing, and even organizing. They took the time to scrub the burnt on oil stains on my stove burners, even cleaned things like the garbage can and footstool. I came home from the hospital and noticed as a bonus they straightened up and organized my storage room under the stairs! I couldn't believe it! One of the few places in my home I hadn't got to. How amazing, what a sweet gesture! What they charge is extremely reasonable for the amount of time they spend and the excellent quality of work. And Amparo is wonderfully flexible with her schedule. She's a miracle worker and bailed me out when I was sick twice already! I don't say this lightly: they are hands down the best professional cleaners I have ever hired. I can't say enough good things about Amparo and her team. Hire these amazing people, you will be so impressed. read more

Amparo and Karla were fantastic. Punctual and amazingly thorough. They stayed late (on a Friday evening) to make sure my apartment was spotless before the move out inspection. I had a list of things that needed cleaning but they were already on it, thinking of items that I never considered. I will definitely hire them again. read more

Amparo has been cleaning my house for a few years now. She is very professional, puntual and she goes out of her way to do an outstanding job. My house is super clean and organized. She makes really good suggestions for organizing my house and office. I hire her to organize my entire house including the garage. I was so pleased with her work, that I also hire her to clean my son's house for father's day, it was a surprise for him while he was out on a trip. When he came back home, he thought he had walked into someone else's place. I highly recommend Amparo and Karla. read more

6 out of 5 stars!! Amparo is kind, caring, smart, punctual, and thorough. and affordable! you don't ever really know what to expect when you invite someone in to your house, and there's a unique vulnerability in showing someone the most private corners of your house. But, Amparo lived up to the excellence of her reputation 110%, cleaned immaculately, and was able to work around my "home office" schedule so well that I forgot to be a curmudgeon. TLDR, by any measure, a great person, and excellent worker. A+ read more
