All I got back was 1 bathing suit, 2 dresses, 2 shorts, and 1 tank! My son got back 2 shirts, 2 swim shorts, 1 bathing suit, 3 shorts, 1 pair of pj's, my husband got back his work clothes! I dropped off 2 WEEKS WORTH OF CLOTHES! And the best they can tell me is they'll look at the cameras. I'm missing bathing suits for everyone in my family, shorts for everyone in my family, my tops, my boys shirts, jeans, EVERYTHING BRAND NEW!!! Update: Just got a call from the manager, this time I talked to a female manager but the manager I talked to from before was male... she called to say she found a bag of clothes and started going through it. After the first couple of items she listed I knew it wasnt mine at all. When I told her none of its mine, her attitude changed from nice to snotty as if I ruined her "hero" moment. She said they'll look over the cameras and I asked does it really have to take 24 hours? She replied snotty again saying I dont know. Then I said "I just dont see why it has to take 24 hrs when he started looking at the cameras when I was at the facility" she said he has to look at it frame by frame for an 8 hr shift. Then rudely said "well bye". So not only is there a confusion on how many managers there are but it sounds like they also lost someone else's clothes too. They're the ones who lost my family's clothes and acting like I'm being a pain. UPDATE: Over 24 hrs later, they called me. This time it was the male again. Stating he looked through the cameras and my family's clothes weren't missing on their end. THAT'S PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE! I gave them $73 in weight of clothes and DID NOT get that back! When I asked if I could see the cameras for myself, he replied just as snotty like a child "no" the fact that I had to correct him on his attitude toward me was very sad. I told him they lost my clothes so what are they going to do to make it right amd he suggested to file a police report against them. Everyone here needs to be evaluated again and given a course on customer amd phone etiquette. They think just because they don't have a big fancy job that they don't have to treat customers with respect. I swear I was talking to a 10 year old on the phone. Sad.

I was quoted a week for the repair. First, they indeed were repaired on time. If you allow, they will text you with updates. As much as I like and appreciate "old-school" repair shops, this is indeed a helpful service. Well done. Second, the repairs. The eyelets were added and color matched to the existing (which I was surprised with!). On the boots with the top lift replacement, they ended up adding a thicker one and I think removing a layer of the heel stack to compensate. All good. However, in sanding the lift down to match the heel stack, it looks like the sander caught the leather sole. I get it, it happens. But to think that was "good enough" and let it leave like that without trying to touch up the sole? It feels like poor attention to detail. Also, the edges of the top lift had stray fibers all over. Maybe my expectations are too high for shoe repair and this is to be expected. All that said, the pricing for the repairs was very reasonable so I can't complain. However, I would gladly pay more for a better result. Maybe their typical client is more value-oriented? There is also a nice selection of shoe care products and polishes from Sapphir (widely held as the top shelf brand) so I had expected top tier results. Overall, a bit of a disappointment but mostly good work.

Well, our washing machine finally died on us and we had to use the laundromat for the first time…read moresince college years. This place is right up the street from me, but I never visited (obviously, no reason to). There's nothing distinguishable about it, but I will give kudos to the older woman that works there in the afternoons. I used a regular-size washer and ran across the street Taco Bell. When I returned, she had removed part of my load and placed it in another washer because I had overloaded it and it started playing bass drum in there (if you've ever overloaded or unevenly loaded a washer, you know what I mean). What impressed me is that she didn't simply turn it off for me to correct upon my return. She moved the clothes, put money in the second machine and didn't charge me. I would have hugged and kissed her, but I understand there are laws against that... ...so I left it at a hearty thank you.
