    Immunity One 2.0
    Shay J.

"I really regret eating healthy today." - Said no one ever. I always love stopping in at clean juice for a healthy meal or a tasty smoothie bowl. Every season customers can expect new menu items ready to excite your pallet. This season I am OBSESSED with the "Carrot Cake Bowl", the Immunity One 2.0 and the Red Beet juice. I would highly recommend downloading the app to earn points. The menu is a little expensive, but totally worth it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have some cute clothing items as well- branded tees and tanks. Almost everything is organic and fresh.

Every time I visit Charlotte, I make it a point to stop by Clean Juice and get a smoothie or an açaí bowl. This time, I decided to go with a Berry Bowl, topped with almond butter, honey, chia seeds, bananas and granola. Although it was a little bit of a wait as the staff was quite busy, they were extremely generous with the toppings. The portion size of the bowl is also quite big, much bigger than the ones in CT. I also appreciated how clean the store was and how the staff wore masks while making the food.

This place. The mango and cream smoothie without protein. Ashley the super friendly and nice lady who made my smoothie and recommended the smoothie. Win win win win win win win! Life is so blessed. Thank you Clean Juice and Ms. Ashley for making my day even brighter! Mm.

This restaurant caters to wellness! Just walking into the place alone offers the feeling of calmness They offer a few delicious salads and I'm happy because I'm stuck at which one to select for a few minutes. I love my Cold Press drinks that compliments my tasty salads. This place is a "must do" when you see Clean Juice. I ask one of the employees what happened to the Prayer Box and she mentioned that due to COVID-19 they had to remove it ... but if I want her to pray for me she would do itDid I say I love this place? I LOVE CLEAN JUICE!

    Carrot cake acai bowl

This is a great addition to Berewick! I've been watching so many fast food and national chains move into the area, so this was a welcome change. You'll find things like acai bowls, smoothies, and juice here. They also have a few food items like different toasts. Last time I was there, I got a seasonal acai bowl, carrot cake, and avocado toast (I know, so millennial of me). I really enjoyed both. They put some chili flakes on the avocado toast which gives it just a bit of heat that enhances the flavor without being too much. It's usually pretty quiet in there when I've been there and service is fast. It's a little on the pricey side, but about what you would expect for juice/acai. This is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat! Welcome to the neighborhood!

This is a great addition to the Steele Creek community. The staff is extremely friendly and the product is excellent. I had a freshly made "Glow Juice" which was full of tons of green veggies and a bit of apple as well, probably to make sure it didn't taste like a lawn. It was really quite good! The texture was nice and the flavors were excellent. I also got to try one of the Energy juices which had a lot of beet in it and it was really good as well! A lot of juices with beets in them end up tasting like... well.. dirt. This one didn't! It was refreshing and delicious. They have fresh made juices, smoothies, and bowls. They also have pre-made beverages which you can take from the fridge. Some are the cold pressed style but some are the smoothie style. Overall this is a refreshing addition to the community and I'll definitely be back. Expect to pay for what you get. The prices here match typical market prices for this type of establishment with all organic, fresh, made to order juices. Just be prepared that you're going to pay $7+ for a juice.

I am updating my review as of August 2021. A few months ago back in April of this year I was coming to this location daily. The experience was horrible but this location is in a good driving distance to my work so I would keep coming back hoping it would get better until one day I had enough! I did not come to this location until recently where the experience is 100 times better than it ever was before! I am so happy new management has taken over this location. My project isn't happy but I am happy I can have this as an option in my rotation of places I go to. I highly recommend!

    Kramer making my Berry Bowl!!!

This is my third experience at clean juice and I must say it keeps getting better! This time I tried the berry bowl, recommended by Kramer {which I later found out was the manager of this location}. He really spent time explaining the types of bowls, what they had in them and what he suggest based on personal preference. I went with the basic and most popular BERRY BOWL! It was so good and while he was making my bowl he was very engaging in conversation with me. I must say this was a first time someone at clean juice was this conversational. But I truly enjoyed it because t showed that he cares and wants to know his customer base. We chatted about the church I attend, some ways he's looking to connect his location with the community and event about my event I was rushing too lol. Overall I had a great experience at Clean Juice Steele Creek and look forward to going back and trying more bowls and juices!

The space is bright, clean, and feels like a nice addition to the neighborhood. The biggest downside was the parking situation which is obviously more of a South End issue than a Salata issue, but it definitely made the quick stop feel less convenient than we expected. The ordering flow was also a little awkward... after building your order you end up waiting at the register while the food is assembled, which slowed things down more than it needed to. Food-wise, my wrap ended up being really good but there wasn't an option for a plain wrap, so I went with the cucumber wrap instead of whole wheat and it actually worked out great. Overall, it was a good meal, but if I'm choosing between salad spots in Charlotte I'd probably lean toward Chopt most of the time.

The pesto chicken looked great too, but I wanted a little heat. I love their options and that you get the cute lil croissant with the salad. I had the ginger lime vinaigrette and REALLY enjoyed this salad.

A friendly young woman greeted us and prepared our bowls with care, walking us down the options without rushing. Mrs. K. chose a rice base topped with a sweet and spicy sauce that struck a lovely balance. I went with greens and a spicy avocado sauce that added just the right kick without overwhelming the freshness of the ingredients. Both bowls were vibrant, well-portioned, and reasonably priced at $14, though there is a $2 upcharge for surimi and for masago, which is worth noting if you're customizing your bowl with extras. The restaurant itself was spotless. The assembly line looked well maintained, with ingredients neatly arranged and everything moving smoothly. It's a small detail, but it speaks to the pride they take in their setup and the consistency they aim to deliver. As a pescatarian, Mrs. K. has a soft spot for poke, and this spot hit the mark. I have no doubt we'll be back--probably sooner than later. [Review 1312 of 2025 - 4446 in North Carolina - 24864 overall]

They were very good and solid sized portion. For the mains, we both ordered filets medium rare. When the steaks arrived both were medium. If it was a ribeye, I probably would have just eaten it but an overcooked filet is no bueno. So we sent back. The bartender/server returned with the steaks as the cook asked us to "cut in the middle." A perfectly cooked filet is cooked the same way throughout. But we obliged and yes, overcooked. This is where the problem arised. It probably took 20 minutes to get our new steaks. Can't help but to think this was done with purpose. But the second round of steaks were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I got the creamed corn for a side and it was flavorless. Do not recommend. I also ordered blackened shrimp with my steak. They were very good but lost some points as they were cold by the time my steak came back out. The steak issue was handled poorly. Place is quiet. May go back.

The restaurant had plenty of seating and a comfortable, casual atmosphere. We started with mozzarella sticks to share, figuring it was a safe appetizer. Unfortunately, the portion surprised us a bit -- there were only five sticks for $7.50. Many places usually serve six to eight for about the same price, so it felt a little light. Next came the salads. She ordered the house salad with French dressing and I had the Caesar salad. The portions were normal for a side salad -- not overly generous, but honestly the perfect size to accompany a meal. I enjoyed my Caesar. For our main courses, she ordered the lasagna. The portion looked generous, but according to her it tasted average -- good, but not particularly memorable. I ordered the white clam pasta because I was really in the mood for clams or mussels. The flavor was actually very good, but the portion was smaller than I expected. I've had larger portions of similar dishes at comparable prices. One thing that was a bit disappointing was the Italian bread that came with the meal -- it was warm, but only two small pieces were served. That said, I noticed throughout our visit that many customers were coming in for pizza, and since it is primarily a pizzeria, that may be where they really shine. The first thing I'll say is pay attention to the portion sizes before you order. Their rice bowls are huge. Seriously. Ask a few questions first so you know exactly what you're getting, unless you're planning on having leftovers for a day or two. I ordered a rice bowl with brown rice and added some chicken wings on the side. The bowl was packed with rice, vegetables, and the sauce I selected, and everything worked well together. The food was flavorful, filling, and honestly more than I expected. I didn't finish it in one sitting, and it took me almost two days to work through everything. The chicken wings were good too, and I liked that they had plenty of options and different combinations to choose from on the menu. They don't have specialty house-made drinks, but they do offer your standard Coke and Pepsi products. The restaurant also has plenty of seating, a few TVs, and a relaxed atmosphere. When I visited, they had soccer playing in the background, which added to the vibe. One thing that stood out was the owner. He was there helping customers, answering questions, and making recommendations. I always appreciate seeing that level of involvement. Overall, this is a solid local spot. Tasty Bowl Subs N Such in Steele Creek is worth the drive. I originally discovered Tasty Bowl through a catering website when I ordered 60 bowls for my office, and the feedback from my coworkers was off the charts. After that, I knew I had to check it out in person. Today, I finally made the trip, and it was worth every mile. The location is tucked away in a corporate park, so you might think you're in the wrong spot at first. But when you see the wacky inflatable arms guy waving outside, you'll know you've arrived at Tasty Bowl. Not only did I get to try the food fresh from the source, but I also had the pleasure of meeting Raj, the owner. If you visit, you'll probably meet him too since he's always there making sure every customer is well taken care of. Raj is one of the most friendly, caring, and genuine people I've ever met. We ended up talking for over two hours about food, life, and world issues. He's the kind of guy you could've spent hours on the phone with as a kid, chatting away on a corded landline in the '90s. The story behind Tasty Bowl is just as unique as Raj himself. While on vacation in Jamaica, he hired locals to cook for him during his stay. He was so inspired by their flavors and techniques that when he returned to the U.S., he decided to transform his sandwich shop into what is now Tasty Bowl. After testing out his new creations with customers, they told him he needed to start serving these bowls full-time, and just like that, Tasty Bowl was born. Tasty Bowl specializes in hefty, flavor-packed rice and salad bowls with a variety of proteins, cheeses, toppings, and sauces. You can pick from signature bowls created by loyal customers or build your own from scratch. Tasty Bowl has many gluten-free menu items, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions. Whether you're looking for a bowl, salad, or protein-packed meal, there are plenty of options to choose from. If you come here enough, Raj might even name a bowl after you. I ordered the Cheezy Buffalo Bacon bowl, and it was fantastic. It came with buttered buffalo rice, grilled chicken, grilled onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms, all drizzled with hot sauce and shredded cheese. The spice level was just right for someone like me who doesn't like overly spicy foods. One important tip is to make sure to mix up your bowl before digging in so that all the shredded cheese melts and the sauces blend perfectly into the rice. There are many other signature bowls I need to try, and maybe one day I'll finally be brave enough to create my own bowl. If I do, who knows? Hopefully Raj will add it to his menu board so everyone can order it. Raj is also opening a Tasty Bowls & a vegetarian Indian spot in a ghost kitchen in South End, meaning soon you'll be able to order Tasty Bowl and Vegetarian Indian food through third-party delivery services or pick up late-night meals until 1 AM. This place is a hidden secret that everyone in Charlotte needs to know about. If you haven't been yet, make the drive to Steele Creek and see for yourself. It won't stay a secret for long.
