We set up a re-check appointment for 2 days later, then texts me last minute and cancels, saying he couldn't get the tube. It was supposed to be a courtesy re-check but they flaked out and said to call someone else. I accepted their offer to destroy the service fee check but they still wasted my time and left me without a working stove. Very unprofessional. Then the two workers started talking numbers and there would be no way $285 would be appropriate, but one of the workers admitted that he might've said $185. They said the parts alone cost $85, which I've since learned from GE that a new motor belt costs only $10. They offered to "undo" the job, remove the parts and leave the job undone, but I'd still owe the $79 service fee. Undo the job?? Seriously?? They offered it to discount the amount to $245, which I paid, not knowing what other choice I had. They said to make up for the misunderstanding, they do another job at a discounted price. They said they could do a dryer vent cleaning for $65. Knowing my dryer vent probably has never been cleaned, I agreed. They were able to pull out a small garbage can full of lint. Later that evening, my dryer would not work, so they had to return the following day and proceeded to pull out just as much lint that day. I didn't realize I was getting the discounted price because they were gonna do half of the job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very shady. Angi filed a complaint with them, and they never replied.
