Yuma is so fortunate to have some really amazing businesses providing products and services to its community. I'd like to rave about one business and its team and its management on 16th Street! A huge rave goes out to Clean Freak Carwash. The attendants who are so often in the sun and the heat at the entrance are friendly and knowledgeable about the services that are offered , any time I've had questions. They have been very informative and . The employees waving vehicles into the bay have never been anything but totally focused and quick to pause the belt should there be any misalignment. The management team is the unsung heroes of this business in our community. Today, I learned that they have amazing knowledge that they are willing to impart to help make our hard earned dollars spent more worthwhile. Not everyone who owns a car is an expert on how to make our effort really shine. The management team keeps busy, but they are more than happy to talk to you about tips or ideas for your specific vehicle. Today I came away with so much extra knowledge and was shown so much consideration when I had a simple issue. Clean Freak Car Wash - Great Place Normally, But This Attendant Was a Total Disaster, Sad! Folks, I took my wonderful Mother to Clean Freak Car Wash in Yuma - the only location there, by the way - to get her truck washed nice and clean. She has their Membership, so we use it all the time - tremendous value, unlimited washes, smart move! Normally, this place is fantastic, very professional, does a tremendous job. But not this time! The attendant on duty in the tunnel? More interested in his radio than actually doing his job. He was supposed to give clear hand gestures to guide me and the car ahead of me - instead, he just waved his hand across the sign like he was swatting away a fly. Lazy! Very unprofessional, especially compared to my recent visits where everything was top-notch. I was helping my Mother with her truck, so I can't complain too much - family comes first, believe me, and we love that Membership. But come on, this guy needs a wake-up call. I hope his supervisors see this review and talk some real professionalism into him, big league. Great value for your car wash in the desert! We visited this location over the weekend & one of the workers assisted the clients by pressing the payment options on the machine. He was very friendly & helpful. Great customer service! The car wash itself did a good job of washing our car's exterior. Kids enjoyed the colors & bubbles. They don't offer bug spraying before you go through. Discovered self service bug station later. Opted for the ultimate wash $22.00 which included tire wash. Got through the wash in about 2 minutes, fastest ever. Discovered that my tailgate didn't get washed (it does at Mister Carwash) nor my tires. So I went back and they did give me another wash which did my tires but not my tail gate....still had bugs. Very unimpressed! read more

Hello everyone I don't like to come out and publicly bash businesses but I went to the car wash in Yuma called clean freak car wash and they weren't able to read my debit card so I had to pay with my credit card this afternoon, (a credit card I dont use often) then right now at 2:40 pm I got a call saying they were the credit company and there's fraud on my card, I am familiar with these scams, they had all my information address and everything they "only needed" to verify my identity and get my 3 digit code and expiration date. Obviously they got it somehow from today I don't know how that works I would pay cash only at this establishment if you can. I called my actual card company and got it resolved it was indeed a scam. read more

Ummm wth $14 wash and you don't pre-rinse, car freshener or the wipe. That's standard for drive through washes at that price. Where are the rags the wipe down the car. And there's no dryer. Who is responsible for the car wash? What is the point of this wash? Never again close it down. You might as well go to a self service wash. read more

Visiting yuma I tried this Carwash...LOVED IT!! Car wash was great...plus the vacuums are great but what i LOVED the most was the AIR options. I could blow off the remaining water drops or take the air hose into the vehicle & blow out hard to reach areas to help clean. Today my $15 car wash cost me $295. The funny thing about it is that I've always hand wash using a two bucket and pressure washer method. I'm coming from Tennessee so after two weeks of looking at all the dead bugs and dirt on my car, I decided to take it in. The car wash didn't remove the bugs but I did remove a panel. They are horrible at responding, they never answer the phone and there website sucks they never respond either, I was trying to cancel my membership for the past week and no one got back to me until I was charged 35$ unbelievable,the guy I talked to was no help, and his manager was not in but he basically told me that there was nothing they could do, car wash always breaking down and stops mid car wash, leaves scratches and spots never really clean even with the most expensive one. I am a Yuma local born and raised and for all my driving years magic mist has been the place I wash my vehicles. One day I stop at clean freak and I will never again go to magic mist. It's definitely not the price but the customer service. And one worker in particular really went above and beyond. The manager Robert shined his light so bright one day. I was really having a bad day and confronted him with hostility. He met my hostility with patients and kindness. Robert, if u see this keep shining ur light and brightening up this world. I can't believe how much this carwash has gone downhill since I started going here. Lets start with the bug prep area, sink is either full of muddy water or just plain water no soap for washing the bugs off. Now the wash itself, I can't remember the last time I've seen all of the brushes working. The last two weeks the top brush hasn't been working so you don't get the top of you car or the windshield cleaned. Also the rinse only works on the right side of your car so you don't get all the soap off. Blowers just don't work. Then you pull around to vacuum and dry your car, good luck finding a vacuum that works or has an air hose. It's just about time to cancel this place. read more

Let's be honest, there really aren't any good car washes in Yuma! Your best bet is to do it yourself...but most of the time it's just to damn hot! Clean Freak does a better than average job on the outside (they do NOTHING inside) but my only complaint is the blowers at the end of the wash don't get all the water off...so you still have some water spots. Being from San Diego, California I guess I'm spoiled because we have car washes everywhere and it's mostly done by hand, NOT a machine and every car wash includes inside and outside. read more

Unlimited car washes $20/mo. Only $5 for the first month. I paid for the cheap car wash and they didn't have all the lights and bells and whistles and wax. So when I pulled through the next time I asked him about the upgrade and they said go ahead and wait until my first month renews so that I don't lose out on the five dollars per month. I thought that was really thoughtful and they gave me a free upgrade for the day to see if that's what I wanted to do on my next trip I would recommend them. read more

Today cancelled my membership. As I was going through the car wash my vehicles tires apparently got stuck in their lockers, the car wash didn't stop and ended up ramming into the car behind me 2 times. The workers told us to park on the side and we spoke to the manager who was very polite and reassuring. Though if this was a truck behind me it would've damaged my vehicle. Car behind me had minor damage but still this shouldn't be a thing. And if so fix it yeah? At the end he told the guy that was behind me that they don't contact insurance and directly pay what would be the estimate on his end. Prior to this incident I've had my vehicle stuck but was able to drive off of the lock around my tire because I was nervous the car in back of me would hit my car... so next time around I asked one of the workers "hey when I get stuck and the lockers aren't pushing my car will the car behind me hit me?" He said no they had cameras and the car wash will stop. Well anyways it did not in fact. Also when consulting one of the workers after the incident I asked if this happens often and he said yes. Wow why are they just willing for people to get their cars hit just to keep this business open. read more

Thought I'd try the new car wash. Gentleman at the kiosk very nice. Asked if I wanted a membership and I thought it would be a good idea to try before I buy. Looked over and saw vacuums and air nozzles...and a lot of people working on their cars after going thru the car wash. Now I know why. After pulling over to look at my car after the wash, I couldn't believe the amount of water left on my car. The drops that dried before I got to them left bad spotting and my wheels still showed road grime. Will continue to go to Soft Cloth. At least I know all I have to do is dry my wheels. read more

Horrible place! Scratched my brand new car front and back with just one wash, very friendly staff but service itself is awful.

If you want your car all scratched up this is definitely the place to get it done, the entire roof of my car and my truck are scratched

Pros: Great for small vehicles Cons: TERRIBLE for black Nissan Armada and similar large vehicles -- car came out streaked and with water drops -- had to be completely hand wiped. Other Problem: Attendant sells a 'deal" to do all the washes you want for $16/month initially -- BUT - doesnt tell you that the charge will occur on your credit or debit card every month unless you stop it. And it is TOUGH to stop it ! nowhere on the webpage is there a button to stop the program... one must instead use the 'contact us" and write a note and wait for someone to call and verify you want out..... and then the request is for your credit card number. Dont give it -- they can look it all up with just your name. Be Careful !!! read more

I was so disappointed with the service. I went through the car was once and the amount of dirt left on my car was unacceptable. I told the service guys and they told me I could run my car through again. Now I know why the car washes were free. Plus they never told me I would be charged monthly when they scanned my debit card for the three free months; deceitful. I canceled my services with them and will not recommened. I've been through this car wash a few times. Not very happy with the performance. Leaves water and doesn't get all the hard to reach places. This last time I went through with my new recently purchased Tacoma and the blower had ripped the rubber trim from the top of my cab off. As soon as I went back to retrieve the trim it was already pitted and ruined from the heavy duty wax they use. Although they have a sign that states they are not held liable for damages the attendant did not feel the slightest bit responsible and said that I should go back to the dealership and see what they can do. We go to Yuma quite a bit and the freeway bugs just live our car so we stop at this car wash for a quick cleaning. This time A very polite young man named Austin tried to sell us a great monthly plan, but with our limited time here it wouldn't be worth it. The car is cleaned every time and worth every penny and in a very short amount of time. I definitely recommend this place. read more
