DO NOT USE SPEEDWAY CAR WASH AT GIANT!! ANY DAMAGES WILL NOT BE PAID FOR.
I took my vehicle to Speedway car wash at Giant a few weeks ago, one of the strands that washes the cars got stuck to the passenger mirror and it broke off and shattered the mirror. I submitted a claim with Speedway and it was denied because no other vehicles were damaged that same day. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, was informed supervisor Jaime was out of his office so I left a voicemail for a call back. A few minutes later Jaime returned my call and we started discussing about my claim. He immediately asked me if I had read the disclaimer before washing my car, I told him no because I was not the one who took my car to wash, it was my mother. I explained to Jaime that my mother does not read or spoke English, so I asked if the disclaimer was available in Spanish since we are a city close to the border and with a high Latino communities. Jaime then told me he was unable to provide me that information, he continued to tell me that we are in America. I proceeded to ask him what he meant by that... and I continued to ask him if he was saying that because my mother doesn't speak English? I also told him that I was taking this as being racial. I asked to speak to his supervisor but he hung up on me, I immediately called him back and he hung up again. After making several calls to Speedway, I was transferred to Jaime again and he told me that he was unable to provide me with his supervisors name or phone number because he has been with Speedway for more than 30 years and his superiors trusts on how he manages any complaints. read more
