This review is for both Chester's and Godfather's Pizza... Godfather's Pizza: When I arrived and ordered 1 pizza each of Cheeseburger, Hawaiian and Cheese there was a 25 minute wait during dinner rush. No problem; I hunkered down in the nearby social distanced booths and waited (I tried to order online but it wasn't working for me). The clerk (named "God" on the receipt?) Was friendly and on it taking care of multiple orders. Upon payment (using a coupon from their site online; military discount was also available) I give the pizzas 5 stars (right out of their oven) and 4 stars as next - day leftovers...it's surprisingly that good! The melted condiments, the cheese and the taste, wow. I was truly flabbergasted (that word, yes!). One of the top 5 great pizza orders. Leftovers weren't too shabby, either. Chester's: Even though the server was helpful and patient during the malay of a rush hour, I gave the 16 piece family meal (with 2 extra sides) 3 1/2 stars. Maybe a close 4 stars if the chicken and biscuits were fresh; they were under the heater lamp for a minute (I get it, fresh food only when it's getting low) but even then I didn't find it crazy good. I guess going on after Godfather's Pizza is a hard sell. But if traveling and need to have some, it's good to go. Not an altogether bad time!

Gas plus can grab hot food before California

Stopped in to grab gas and use bathrooms. Bathrooms cleaner than Loves back in Gila Bend. Surprisingly they had good hot food options. Staff all very friendly. We grabbed Godfathers Pizza to go which she made hot. Even had my friends Taco Pizza which she has been craving (we from Nebraska so such a treat). Gonna stop here on way back to Phoenix.

    They have showers here!

9/12/22: Stopped at several Love's en route from CA to TX. They're all pretty safe, clean and serves its purpose of stopping for gas, snacks, a bathroom break, and even if you need to take a shower. Definitely a better option than going to a rest stop or a stand alone gas station. If I'm ever on another road trip, I wouldn't hesitate to go here.

They do their job well in a busy travel stop. Bathrooms are clean, lots of gas pumps, lots of stuff to buy, and very decent customer service.

    Fresh gas.

I am not sure what love's puts in their windshield wiper cleaner, but it's amazing. We stop at all love's on our route to ensure clean windshields and good gas prices. And frankly we can be sure of both. I have also gotten a few cowboy hats there too. I love Peter Grimm! I like that they have cups of fruits to eat too. I don't always want a candy bar. And I have choices!! They have veggies too, I like that, salad in a cup, sort of anyway.

The best way to start the day...with Latosha at Loves in Yuma, AZ!

Latosha made my day! She was genuinely friendless, helped me get the coffee I wanted and started our day with a smile!!

No fuss, everything you could ever need on a long trip. Can't complain on the convenience even after midnight after a blowout.

The staff is what keeps me coming back. All the young ladies there are soooo friendly and helpful and are HARD WORKERS! They are always cleaning, stocking shelves AND they have to work the register. Multitasking at its finest. The mini marts prices are a bit higher, but it's a small business so occasionally I don't mind paying a bit extra for convenience. They have everything you'd find at bigger gas station- chips, candy, instant ramen and drinks, but they also have some specialty imported snacks and alcoholic beverages that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. They also have an outdoor filtered water station (50 cents) which is a plus! During snowbird season this place is a godsend. Especially when you're in a rush and want to avoid crowds and people. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Foothills Mini Mart!

Always a pleasant surprise whenever you see a Maverik coming to town…read more Whenever we visit Yuma, AZ we frequent the Love's just south of the fairgrounds. Well, now we will be splitting our time with the presence of a new Maverik directly across from Love's. The employees were so nice and friendly and the store was stocked full of great stuff, like you'd expect from Maverik. We travel a lot and know that Maverik has competitive gas prices, a great rewards program, and clean restrooms for travelers. My wife and I had been hosting a Lego Experience at the Yuma County Fair and heard that we were featured on the front page of the Yuma Sun. We were able to get some copies from the newsstand at Maverik and talk to the clerks about our story. They were wonderful and congratulated us about it. Definitely planning on going to Maverik the next time we are in Yuma.

I didn't see any of the trucker amenities, didn't get gas either…read more What I did do was stop in with my family and get affordable eats and drink! I found the inside of the store pleasing to the eye and senses; from the clean concession/coffee area (sugar free syrups? A big win), the soda machine with all the bells and whistles (flavor shots, two different selections of types of ice) self service kiosks and a big hot food section. I was gonna get the app for extra reward point collecting but the reviews were iffy, so that's a pass. But the store is a "go."

Well, a few days later, my car looked like it got bombarded by a squadron of pigeons. The day we headed back home, New Years Day 2022, was the day every car wash in Baja, and in Sonora, decided to close. So I drove across the border, and stopped at the first gas stations that featured a drive-thru car wash. This Speedway station didn't look too packed at all. I walked in to their convenience store, and bought their top-of-the-line drive thru wash. The patrons as well as the workers here were very friendly. I then made my way back to my car, and drove around to sit in line for the car wash. This took far more time than I expected, and my wait was exasperated with the fact that I was hangry. But nonetheless, cleaning the mess those pigeons made on my car was a higher priority. Once it was my turns to go into the car wash, I input my code on the monitor on the left, and I drove in. The process was slow, but I soon learned the wait was worth it. While this drive-thru car wash looked antiquated, it turned out to be far more effective than the drive-thru carwashes back home. My car looked clean and shiny, and not a single bit of grime was left. Other pluses to this station are: lower gas prices (this is Arizona, where the residents don't get taxed like we do in California), nice locals, clean station, safe surrounding area. Whether you visiting Yuma, or just passing by, this is a good option for gas, snacks, and a car wash.
