YOU NEED TO EAT HERE. I cruise yelp reviews to see if I should eat somewhere or not. This is a place you should select YES PLEASE. Let's address the elephant in the room: this place is healthy.... Which usually yields some preconceived notions about how the food will taste. Honey, you need to leave those at the door cause the food is legit. If you did a blind taste test of the food, guessing the macros, you'd never get it right- It's GOOD. Well seasoned, fresh, no kind of stale old health food flavor. They make their own sauces apparently. And these aren't the half hearted attempts like that one time you did Whole30 and tried to make homemade ketchup. These are professional grade. You're gonna be looking for some extra packets to stash in your purse like your MawMaw used to do. Prices are very reasonable, portion size is great, there's outdoor seating. You're able to customize your order easily (add more protein, make it low carb, etc). There's also meals in their freezers you can take home. And they have regular weekly meal plans where you order your food ahead of time, collect your order, refrigerate, and heat it up in the microwave through the week. On this eat-in occasion, I got the turkey burger with sweet potato fries and my friend got the chicken pesto wrap with pasta. It was hot, the service was excellent, and we didn't feel miserable when we left. We will be back here for sure! read more

This is a very unique but needed spot in this area. They offer frozen meals to go, meal plan service, protein coffee and shakes, and made to order cafe menu of handheld and bowls. The staff was helpful and friendly. We ordered from the cafe menu. My bowl was full of flavor. We both agreed that everything tastes fresh. We arrived during peak lunch hours. It wasn't super busy. The freezers are always full at that time. There is always a good variety of items to choose from. Most of the meals are low calorie, high protein with selections for extra protein. You can't beat the prices per meal either. Less than $10 per meal...winning! Let's be serious, you can't even go to McDonald's for less than $10 these days. I always get the chicken, turkey, or fish dishes because of my limited diet. The food is always seasoned just right compared to other frozen prepared meals from other places and the portions are filling. The kitchen options in store are good, too. Do yourself a favor and get a build your own bowl with burnt turkey ends...you'll thank me later. they offer fresh weekly meal preps with orders having to be placed by a certain day and Sunday pickup. I live in Charlotte, and before I drove to Birmingham I was going to stop by Clean Eatz there and pick myself up some meals for the week, but to my surprise that Birmingham already had one so I opted to just get them once I got here. This place is much bigger than the one in Charlotte and all the freezers full to the top, and I was very impressed with how clean the place was. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my need. All the meals were reasonably priced and were very affordable. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

We wanted to like it....we just didn't. Employees are 5 stars, very nice and friendly. However, the food is very bland, I guess reflective of the "clean" and "healthy" concepts. We ordered one built-your-own bowl with grilled chicken to try, intending to order more after we finish the first. One sauce comes with it. We paid extra and got two sauces on the side - Thai Peanut and Goddess. Without sauce, the food itself has no flavor/seasoning at all. Ingredients taste like they were cooked in water only. I was a newbie with high expectations. Really need a break from weekly food prep. I was greeted from the counter and thought that was their standard and started looking for meals. To my delight, I watched someone assist the customers that were there when i arrived . Next, I watched someone rush from behind the counter to greet the next customer through the door. Asked if they were new (they were) and assisted them with enthusiasm. I felt my money wasn't wanted or needed. There were only 3-4 customers at the time so it didn't feel like an oversight. There are so many good options, and after trying about everything I always come back to the bacon chicken ranch flatbread, the chicken pesto wrap, and the turkey burger. I occasionally place meal plan orders too, which are super convenient when I'm in a crunch for time. (The cauliflower pizzas are to die for too). Along with those, I like to shop their frozen grab & go section, which always has plenty of meals to choose from. I've only been here for lunch with mom-friends. It's a perfect location for this... indoor and our door seating (esp in spring/fall) reasonable sized menu with unlimited combos to 'build your own'. I've tried many menu items but my favorites are the buffalo chicken wrap and the build-your-own bowl (because sometimes I just can't make a decision). What I love the most though is that when I build my own, I can't ever decide on the sauce... and every time I'm able to get advice as to which sauces I should try based on the veggies/protein I did choose. read more

Good concept, bad execution. Ordered salmon bowl with kale quinoa base, mushrooms carrots and Brussels. Food came and the Salmon was cold shoe leather, got brown rice instead of kale quinoa and the brown rice had ice in it in parts of it, carrots were Luke warm grocery store mini kid carrots. $15 lesson, will never eat there again. With all my dietary restrictions, I find it hard to eat out. The owner was so kind and helpful as I navigated the menu to find a meal that met my needs. I was not disappointed with my bowl. It was so tasty. The hubs also got a bowl which he throughly enjoyed. He is already talking about what to order on our next visit. Mom enjoyed her wrap and waffle fries.
