His crew showed up on time, pinpointed and effected a perfect repair to the actual problems, and the final bill was very reasonable charging only what was actually required to expertly correct our issue. The repair is solid, has withstood last winter (including the recent onslaught of rain this past weekend), and undoubtedly will endure for the remaining lifetime of the roof. The first roofing contractor that contacted us was not ethical in stating he could work to reduce or eliminate our insurance deductible. We thought that was an odd thing to say and later discovered it is not legal! That same contractor did not carry liability coverage, so we declined to hire him. Fortunately, we had heard about Superior Roofing from a friend who had just had their roof replaced due to the same storm system. They spoke highly of both the product and the crew that did a great job. As soon as we reached out, Ryan and the other Superior Roofing leadership were in communication regularly, helping us through what could have been a long, arduous process with our insurance carrier. They provided us options and plenty of references to go and look at their work directly. Superior Roofing stated they used the same computer software as our insurance company and once the adjuster approved the damage, we hit the ground running. Superior handled the claim directly from that point forward, we receive both a new roof on all 3 structures, wood stain touch up and new guttering, at the recommendation of of our insurance adjuster. With the exception of weather, which makes any outdoor contracting schedule iffy, Superior delivered on every aspect. They followed through on every single item they planned to execute. Their team was on time, professional, polite and respectful of our property. In the end, we had a roof that was even more beautiful than the original, and fully guaranteed by Atlas, the roofing product company. Superior did a phenomenal job, as did their gutter subcontractor. They remain responsive to any questions that come up, and, when our insurance company got bogged down in issuing the final payment, Superior was patient and understanding. What a great company! Also, they really appreciate and take care of their crew, bringing cold beverages, pizza, anything to help them get through the hot Texas days and complete the project on time. Our journey starts in approximately February of last year. We got a quote to get our roof…read moreprofessionally replaced and repaired. We decide our shingle and gutter colors and everything seemed great, planned and ready to go. This is during a supply shortage so we get delayed a month or so due to availability of shingles. Sure, no problem. The installation begins: the contractors arrive and seemed professional enough to know what they're doing and they get started ripping things off and replacing. First incident is my neighbor picks up a handful of nails that were left in the street after the first day of work. Unacceptable, but they responded respectively with my feedback. 2nd day into the work they let me know they underestimated the amount of shingles and need approximately $2,000 more including labor. We decline and but pay some pity because of it being a mistake. Here's the catch. We have to wait for more shingles, --for 3 months. All the while 4 different leaks developed with a half blue and half brown roof. Keep in mind, all of the communications with AVCO have been extremely delayed and they showed up multiple times without notice. They fix the leaks; repaint it and all. I accept it. And still being lenient. They continue the roof replacement and the blue shingles look amazing. Another 3 months go by with little communication on when the gutters will be installed and the pricing. The gutters get installed initially, completely incorrectly. At this point, the person who gave us our initial quote was 'fixing' his contractors work. The gutters continued to hold water and drain incorrectly. We come to find there is a sagging section of the roof that they should've contacted us regarding and at least given us the choice to get it repair or not. But no one ever spoke about it potentially being a problem. To this day we have yet to pay for the gutters as they still are left incorrectly done and still holding just a little bit of water, not to mention a corner being finished with the wrong type of leaf catcher because they ran out or got lazy. This is not a reliable company. They contract out there work to anyone who will do it for a low wage.
