Although I wasn't dissatisfied with the pool company I was using, I figured I would give them a try. Extremely glad I did. First, their customer service was very friendly. The person I spoke with was very pleasant and accommodating. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The tech who came out to service my pool was Jamie. He was extremely nice and very pleasant. He was also very knowledgeable. I appreciated him explaining to me in detail everything he did. I always thought my pool looked good after being cleaned from my previous company but Clean Bottom Pools showed me I was wrong. Jamie made my pool sparkle like never before! My pools looks amazing! He did a great job! Another plus is I got a report of what was done as well as pictures of my finished pool. Although I was not looking for a new pool company, I have found one. I have been with CBP for about 8-9 years in my current residence. The first couple of years were fabulous and the pool was always in top shape. over the past couple of years the water quality had rapidly declined. I would notice almost on a monthly basis that the pool water appeared to be partially drained and refilled due to seeing the aftermath of where the water was let out on the side of the house (I now believe this was being done to clarify the water and save on chemicals) . Over the past year everytime my kids or I got in the pool it instantly turned to chocolate milk. I noticed that the walls and steps were NEVER brushed and my pool starting growing slim (despite routine maint by CBP). Took a water sample to Leslie and the pool had ZERO chlorine in it! Not sure if this was to save money NOT using routine chemicals for the pool and thus making my pool look like a slime pit. also have been brushing my own walls and steps due to this never being done. The business was previously run by Glenn Holmes who has now started his own business to offer an all pool solution with unwavering integrity. For the last 15 years, Glenn has done a super job repairing my pool and he was the only reason I stayed with Clean Bottom who did the major stuff. Glenn was the only reason I stayed with this company because the new ownership and remaining employees are rude and incompetent. If you want a weekly pool service with a tech who has a big attitude and who doesn't actually service your pool or even bother to show up then Clean Bottom is during My home surveillance has witnessed my weekly pool guy skip any servicing by telling me after 10 years of service with the company and paying $160 a month for extra time needed to roll up my solar cover on brand new reels. Clean Bottom has no problem charging my credit card and according to the tech, he was directed to take a photo of my pool cover and immediately leave without performing any service. My security footage confirmed this was a a pattern or that the tech was a no show for most of December. A service ticket, photo and billing are generated regardless of the tech skipping the service so I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

The service under new ownership of Clean Bottom Pools is amazing! After the tech has finished servicing my pool, I receive a detailed report of what has been done including a photo and the tech's name for example. Each time my pool ends up crystal clear, hence the company name :) See photos --which are all from difference dates. Their customer service rep is also extremely helpful and professional. When I have questions I receive a prompt response right away. Overall, very affordable (high quality service) compared to other pool cleaning companies in the Valley. read more

We have been using Clean Bottom Pools for about 2 years now as they had taken over the client list for a different pool company that was closing. We have been very pleased with our services - our pool is always clean and they helped mitigate an algae issue we had. Darren is our pool tech and we really like him. He is reliable, personable, happy and just an all around great guy. He always makes sure our pool is clean and taken care of. If I am home on our scheduled day I try to pop out and catch up with him to make sure there isn't anything he needs from us. I had Clean Bottom Pools come after the gentleman that did it before passed away. At first they were great. Then they got where they were not doing a good job at all. There was even one man came in, looked at the pool, stood back and took a picture sent it to me and said it was cleaned. I was sitting in my kitchen watching him. I called and complained but nothing was done. Our pool got worse and worse. I again called and complained with no one retuning my call. I finally got so disgusted that we asked them not to return.
