Since Clean-A-Can was sold to new owners, the service has been a disaster. I had an annual subscription. They never called me about renewing and just canceled our service. When we called to re-subscribe, they promised they would come to clean the cans on a date in the following week. They never came and cleaned our cans. read more

This is the only game in town if you wanted to clean your trash, recycling and green waste cans in Orange/Villa Park area. Mark Bradley is definitely knowledgeable and well-spoken. I opted for the annual plan for the 3 largest capacity cans. It was a bit pricey at $315/year for every 4th Friday of the month. I guess if you have a high pressure washer nozzle, you can do this yourself. But something about someone coming every month with their mobile, custom-fitted, brand-wrapped vehicle that makes you feel that they can do a better job at $8.75 a can per month. There's also a faint citrus scent that they put into the water as a finisher. They give you a reminder call the day before, but Villa Park is always the 4th Fri of the month. read more

The service is okay, but scheduling is a nightmare, and customer service is nonexistent. When I found a better service, Clean-A-Can refused to let me cancel. I have tried to cancel my service nearly a dozen times via phone, email, and letter, all to no avail. They are still charging my card (without consent), so now I have to cancel my card just to make it stop. This place is a scam. Run far away. read more

We've been using Clean-a-Can for a couple of years. We pay annually for the monthly service. Great service up until January 0f 2024. They didn't show up in January or February. They did show up in March and I went out to talk to the guy. He didn't speak English, but he was surprised when I switched to Spanish. He gave me the name and telephone number of his supervisor. I talked with the supervisor who said a key employee left the company and they are playing catchup. He said he would make up for the past two months. They did show up in April and I am waiting to see if they show up next week for my May service. read more

Best decision I ever made. Yes, my husband (or myself for that matter) can hose out the cans. But I always end up nagging himand it gets put off and put off. Oh my GOSH! I just had these guys come for the first time, as I signed up for a years service. I can't tell you how ridiculously happy I am over clean cans! I'm telling you, my organics was the most vile, nastiest thing on this planet! And these guys got it like brand new in one shot! Look at the pic i attached of the inside! I was thrilled to find that this company existed and cleaning trash cans was a "thing". We have 2 large dogs and a household of people so we produce a lot of trash.... perishable trash that smells... bad. At times we have had food which circles through life (gross) with maggots and flies which means my cans often sit on the curb for 24 hrs waiting for the hubs to get home and pull them in. i figured why not give this service a try. I mean there is no way in hell I am going to wash them myself.... ever. My husband laughed at me .... but I am now a fan! I couldn't believe when I saw this guy fully immersed into the can cleaning the bottom solidified grossness. The best part? The can smelled clean. I swear! Like friggen Fabioso clean. I am sold. They stopped showing up a couple months ago. I called this past month to confirm I was on the schedule. Still did not receive the automated message that is supposed to go out as a reminder. I called the day of as well in the afternoon since they had historically been by in the morning. They could not give me an estimated time. They then never showed up - for a third month in a row. I think i have been using Mr. Clean-A -Can service for over 8 years, or more. It was a game changer since. No more smelly trash cans especially during hot summer months. If my trash cans could talk, they would be saying how they always look forward to the second Tuesday of every month!!! Some 8 plus years later, they still offer the same professional service. Now that the company has gotten bigger and more popular, the owner/ manager is still very polite and helpful whenever i call him for concerns (which is also very rare) . I refer them to my neighbors because i know they too would appreciate the service offer by Clean-A-Can should they know. So, if you are unsure, give them a call. This company is ridiculous! Stood up 4 times!!! They never called back to apologize nor reply to my voice mail. For the first two times, I can understand if they didn't receive my online orders (this is what he claimed when I called). However, 2 days after, this mark guy called and asked us to take the trash cans out since his driver can come that day to clean it. So I took the trash cans out, waited to until 10 am but still no one came.  I called Mark but went to voicemail. I left a messgae but he never called back.  Since I really needed the trash cans cleaned, the next week, I called Mark again and asked if he can come. He told me ok and they will come that day but he didn't show up once AGAIN!!! They never called back explained why they didnt show. I really had enough for this company. Luckily, I was able to find another cleaning company. This kind of service is rare in my area.  I guess this is why he has such bad business attitude. read more

Let's be honest, they're not 100% on the ball with their billing and sometimes the routes get messed up, but the world isn't a perfect place and if it was we wouldn't need trash can cleaning, am I right? I signed up in Huntington Beach 6 yrs ago and occasionally they change the day of service but guess what, if my cans aren't clean, I call and they resolve the service issue, no hassel, pretty simply fix. It's nice having clean fresh smelling trash cans, so yeah it's not perfect but what is? For all the one star haters, you probably complain about everything anyway so you're reviews are most likely disingenuous at best or hate at worst. In closing, clear your cans yourself, pay someone else to do the dirty work or be the person with stinky dirty cans, your choice! read more

Oh Clean-A-Can you have made my life so much easier. This is a once a month trash can cleaning service that makes my smelly trash cans smell really nice. We have rabbits and their litter boxes are pretty pungent. I don't know why everyone doesn't use this incredible service that is offered. Pretty much everyone in my neighborhood has this service. You basically leave your cans out the day after your scheduled trash pick up and they will clean and deodorize your stinky trash cans. I reached out to Mark in December to set up service for my dads house as this was a Christmas gift for a full year of trash can cleaning service! Awesome right? Until the first time they did not show up, second time they had to come the next day and today called but NO SHOW AGAIN! I can't get ahold of anyone, everytime I do get in contact it's a "tech issue" or an "accounting issue" HOW HARD IS IT TO PROVIDE A SERVICE SOMEONE IS WILLING TO PAY FOR. Upon calling to inquire about their service, I made it clear I was hesitant because of the many many bad reviews saying customers would pay and then they would not show up. Wow!! It took less than a week from initial contact to cleaning of our 3 bins. The bins stunk and had so much built up residue. They cleaned the bins the day after trash day which was super convenient. The bins are spotless and smell SO good. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future. I signed up for clean a can in July. After a week of calling to find out when the service would start, I contacted Mark who confirmed the service would start on the 2nd Thursday of the month beginning in August. He attributed the lack of response from a system glitch. The 2nd Thursday comes around and no one showed up. I called Mark today and he confirmed I was on the route list but due to a system glitch, they didn't come out. Too many glitches for me so I canceled the service. While Mark is nice, there are too many glitches. I requested a refund for what I paid for. read more

Nothing is better than having a clean trash bin awaiting you when you have to throw out mounds of trash during the week. Clean-a-can throughly cleaned out my disgusting waste bin after the trash bag had a hole in it. Needless to say, my trash bin was worse than a toxic waste dump with maggots and the smell of death every time we had to open the lid. Clean-a-can came to the rescue and made it as good as new! I was one of the lucky first customers and was very pleased with the service these guys offered. First, I want to say that we have three cats and one of the cans stank from the cat's litter even when empty. Just after two services the smell was gone and we no longer needed to keep our breath approaching the cans. Second, these guys offer a "green" solution to can cleaning.
