If you're wanting a fancy spa, this isn't it, but if you're okay with some outdated things, but still getting high quality massage for a good price, this place is it. Picked Balance Therapeutic Massage mainly because of very reasonable pricing for 90 minutes. Well not only was pricing great, the massage by Sue Lasiter was probably one of the best massages I have ever had. I have a regular massage therapist in my hometown and have had many treatments in cruise ships and at resorts. None compare to the massage by Sue. I mentioned problems with one of my shoulders. She spent extra time on that area, but not so much that I felt other parts were neglected. The building where they are located is under what appears to be extensive renovations and once inside there is nothing fancy. So if you are looking for a more spa like experience, look elsewhere. It took us a month and a half to get an appt and she said she can only do one person at a time, so clearly she has no employees. She then texts us one hour before the appt and says she has an emergency. She asks us if we want to reschedule for 2 hours later than our original time (kind of weird if you just had an emergency but okay) then says, unless you want to do another day. Well considering we had to wait a month and a half we were going to take the next available time, 2 hours later. She texts us AGAIN to cancel right before the appt. I can't believe she had good reviews on Groupon. After looking on here and other places now I know. Beware!!! She's a scam! Edit: just noticed she told another negative reviewer this is "not her character" and she had a migraine. Actually, apparently it is because I've been reading other people say the same thing! Also, you have 2 yelp accounts...convenient that this one has more positive ones. Sounds like you tried to start a new one. Second edit because I can't respond to Amanda's response to my review. Attached is her excuse. Amanda I'm sorry if you're telling the truth and I hope all is well with your friend but unfortunately you cannot be believed. You have MULTIPLE bad reviews with people saying you came up with excuses to cancel. Sorry, but it is what is it. Do better!

Neither was addressed and pressure was light-medium at best. Arms and legs got a lot of attention but my arms and legs did not need attention. Somewhat relaxing for what it was but not what I asked for or feel like I paid for. Therapist also stopped a few times as if distracted. I almost asked if she was ok, then she came back to life and kept going. It was odd. Is that some energy healing modality? Products for sale were very scented, which I am sensitive to but massage used scent free products. Thank you. I'd try another service or different therapist with a specific therapeutic deep tissue or Thai massage focus. Maybe book more days in advance. The space is fantastic.

I regularly get deep tissue massages & was excited to get one for my birthday. The inside of this establishment looks much better than the outside. It is warm, welcoming, calming & clean just like a spa. They opened at 9am, my appt was scheduled for 9:15am. I was asked to choose my essential oil for my appt, then guided to sit in the waiting area. There are a set of mugs & the option to choose water or tea while I waited. Their restroom is beautiful & clean! Definitely gives spa vibes. My therapist walked into the building at 9:15am, which was inconvenient. She called me into my designated room, introduced herself by telling me her name then asked the standard questions (What is the goal of your appt today? What areas are we focusing on? Are there any areas to avoid? etc.) To be completely honest, She seemed a bit disengaged & I didn't really feel welcomed so I was a bit worried about how my session would go. Next, she stepped out the room to give me time to undress then came back a few minutes later. She started off very gentle in the beginning similar to a Swedish massage. After a few minutes passed she asked if the pressure was ok. Since I booked a deep tissue, I asked her to go deeper, she said ok but the pressure remained the same. I asked her again to go deeper, she said ok again and applied slightly more pressure. Again, I kindly told her to go even deeper. She said ok and more pressure was applied. I felt like I was bothering her/asking too much, so I didn't bother to ask her again to go deeper. I just wanted to get the service that I was paying for especially because it was my birthday so I was trying to have a relaxing day. After my session was finished, she stepped out & I was given time to get dressed. She met me outside of the door and gave me a cup of water. She then went over an after care plan that was basically suggestions to drink plenty of water & advice on how to loosen up my tight muscles by stretching. Overall it was a decent massage but I didn't appreciate the late arrival to my appt & the deep tissue experience.

She recommends his services to anyone. We have already booked a second massage for her. I also want to say that we are in no way associated with 757 Massage other than as a customer. I am surprised by the reviews left stating appointments were hard to make and complaints that no one was there at the facility. We experienced none of that. 757's website is very specific on the days they are open and that when they are open it is by appointment only. Their online calendar lists what days are available and the times available on those days. Appointments can be scheduled up to 6 months in advance. Pick the type of massage desired plus any notes, enter the date and time, and complete the request. A reply sent to my email account was almost instanteous stating they were reviewing our request. Shortly after another email was received stating it was set. It appears that therapists are only at the facility when they have appointments. My wife saw Brett inside on the day/time of her appointment, knocked on the door, and he answered it. The Groupon also provides a telephone number. She probably could have called him when she arrived instead. He gave her his card when she left which includes his number. My only small complaint is that "deep tissue massage" is not listed as a selection on the website even though it is what offered on the Groupon. I just selected a different type of massage with the same price and stated in the comments that we have a Groupon and she wants a deep tissue massage. No problem once we got there!
