Let me start by saying that I suffer from severe dental PTSD. I needed a root canal on an upper…read moremolar, and was referred by my regular dentist to see Dr. Cottle at Clayton Endodontics. Dr. Cottle took the time to explain everything very thoroughly, answer any and all questions that I had, and really put my dental stress at ease. But, more importantly, when I had the root canal done, I can honestly say that it was the least stressful procedure that I've had done at a dental office in over 40 years. The instruments that he used were extremely quiet, he didn't rush through anything or make me feel like I was keeping him from his next patient, and I just felt like he had some of the gentlest hands while he was doing all of the work. I literally started dozing off a couple of times in the chair, and that was with no nitrous. Although no dental experience that I've ever had has been enjoyable, this one was easily the least unpleasant. Oh, and even though they don't take dental insurance, they filled out the reimbursement forms for my insurer and submitted them for me while I was there. Recommend highly!!

However, when it came time for the rescheduled appointment, I was informed that my daughter could not be seen because your office had failed to submit the required paperwork to my insurance provider for authorization. I was told I could either pay out of pocket or wait until the paperwork was properly submitted. I chose to wait. Weeks turned into months with no follow-up from your office. When I eventually called to check in, I was told the paperwork had finally been submitted. I asked why no one contacted me to move forward with scheduling, and the staff member I spoke with, Ariana, told me she didn't know because it wasn't her responsibility. She offered to look into it and have someone call me back -- or advised that I could follow up myself. Since then, I've made multiple attempts to call your office with no success. It now appears my calls are being ignored, as I've discovered that calls from other numbers are answered while mine are not. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing healthcare experiences I've had -- not for myself, but for my daughter, who continues to wait for care due to repeated administrative failures and a lack of communication on your part. I am respectfully requesting immediate attention to this matter. Please contact me directly as soon as possible so we can resolve this and ensure my daughter receives the treatment she needs. This dentist (?) is by far the worst I've ever been to. I would go to a dentist with The Sopronos crew before going back to that woman!! According to her & her asst. every tooth I own is cracked, has a cavity or falling out. She told me to ONLY EVER drink water and anything other than mush would break all my teeth. Dr. Brown is a very caring, gentle Dentist. She constantly asks if you fell anything as she works on your teeth. Both Dr. Brown and her Dental Assistant look for signs of any discomfort and quickly act to remedy the situation.
