Because they do not have GF bread or buns, and use gluten-containing ingredients in their sushi and soups, I ordered a smash burger with no bun, and a side of vegetables. The Smokehouse Burger is prepared to order with bacon, fried onion rings, melted cheese, tender, juicy, delicious. We asked for more napkins, which never came. My wife mentioned the cold fries and she was brought another serving of equally cold fries. When we were finished, I asked the server for a couple to go boxes. We received one and had to ask for more; eventually getting one more box. It took an additional 10 minutes to get the check, and another 10 to have it retrieved with the credit card. The neighboring table was also dealing with cold fries.

The lodge has a bar, usually has food (during non covid times) and a pool table. You can enjoy a bonfire with the owners or just chill with your family. The area is beautiful, 5 minutes from phenomenal rafting and 25 minutes from the cute up and coming downtown Clayton. The comfort station was clean, stocked with some basic necessities in case you forgot yours. This was a great hidden gem
