There were two stylist and they both appeared to have just started a haircut. The one stylist obviously knew the client because she stood behind her and talked and talked. By this time there were 3 people in the store and 6 more logged in on the computer. Another stylist took us after half an hour and she did a nice job. The one who disappeared didn't come back out for 15 minutes. We arrived with a 20 minute wait according to their computer and when we left the wait time was 95 minutes. Not enough stylist and too much socialization. Incredibly bad service from the one stylist. Very disappointed.

I met with Brooke and we ended up deciding on a collarbone length cut with an extended root shadow to excentuate my long faded ombré. I have gone to several other salons and never ended up receiving my desired look so I was a bit skeptical. However, Brooke did such an amazing job on my hair and was the first stylist to ever create the look I was imagining in my mind. She blended the ombré SEAMLESSLY and made my dye job look as natural as can be. I am beyond happy with her skills as a stylist and I am ecstatic to finally have the hair I've always wanted. I absolutely reccomend Brooke if you are looking for any type of ombré/balayage (although I'm sure she could do anything ) as she did an amazing job. After calling around (my husband and I just moved to this area), I decided on Mariah's after calling her back with a few extra questions. She never got frustrated with my amount of calls, and she let me know how much experience her hair stylists had. First of all, she let us come in with a late appointment so that both my husband and I were sure to get our hair done. Walk-ins are an option, but my husband only had one day and a small window of time to get his done. We both got our hair cut by Mariah who was a very cheerful person with a fun personality. She listened patiently and looked at the photos I had brought on my phone explaining the look I was going for. This was something radically different than anything I'd ever had done before, but she did her best to set me at ease. She was efficient, and the prices were great! For female cuts it is $20 and for male it is $17 which was excellent as we are on a budget. It's only a few dollars more than a corporation like Master Cuts or Famous Hair, but in those places you never know who you're going to get hacking at your hair. After she was done and had dried and styled it, it looked better than all the pictures I had brought! I have sent pictures to people, and their consistent first reaction is that it doesn't look like me which is what I was going for trust me. Great prices, great atmosphere. An owner willing to work with you to get you what you need. I will be going back for all my cuts and will be requesting Mariah each time.

I'm usually pretty plain in what I want, just a little trim to keep the split ends away, but I got it in my head that I wanted layers done in a razor cut so I was especially nervous and didn't want to go to some crappy place like Master Cuts where you never know what you're going to get. After a LOT of calling and questioning the people who answered the phone, I decided on Marian's, and I have never been happier with a decision. My husband and I both needed a hairstyle, but his hours conflicted just a bit with the salon hours, so Marian herself stayed open later to accommodate us. She was friendly, fun, and extremely courteous. To be perfectly honest I've never had so much fun getting my hair done. And when I saw the results I knew I made the right decision. I am 33 years old, and I have never had a hairstyle I love more than this. I have been back three times since (would have been more but there have always either been time or money issues) and I plan to make my fourth visit tomorrow. I always go when I can get Marian to cut my hair though since she's the one I've always had.
