After calling around (my husband and I just moved to this area), I decided on Mariah's after calling her back with a few extra questions. She never got frustrated with my amount of calls, and she let me know how much experience her hair stylists had. First of all, she let us come in with a late appointment so that both my husband and I were sure to get our hair done. Walk-ins are an option, but my husband only had one day and a small window of time to get his done. We both got our hair cut by Mariah who was a very cheerful person with a fun personality. She listened patiently and looked at the photos I had brought on my phone explaining the look I was going for. This was something radically different than anything I'd ever had done before, but she did her best to set me at ease. She was efficient, and the prices were great! For female cuts it is $20 and for male it is $17 which was excellent as we are on a budget. It's only a few dollars more than a corporation like Master Cuts or Famous Hair, but in those places you never know who you're going to get hacking at your hair. After she was done and had dried and styled it, it looked better than all the pictures I had brought! I have sent pictures to people, and their consistent first reaction is that it doesn't look like me which is what I was going for trust me. Great prices, great atmosphere. An owner willing to work with you to get you what you need. I will be going back for all my cuts and will be requesting Mariah each time.

My husband and I both needed a hairstyle, but his hours conflicted just a bit with the salon hours, so Marian herself stayed open later to accommodate us. She was friendly, fun, and extremely courteous. To be perfectly honest I've never had so much fun getting my hair done. And when I saw the results I knew I made the right decision. I am 33 years old, and I have never had a hairstyle I love more than this. I have been back three times since (would have been more but there have always either been time or money issues) and I plan to make my fourth visit tomorrow. I always go when I can get Marian to cut my hair though since she's the one I've always had.

This woman should NEVER be allowed to touch eyebrows. She has ruined three years of me growing out my brows to fix a previous hack job.
