This time I brought several out of town friends and we bought a variety of things. The pastries were definitely stale but worse than that the cakes were moldy, again! We took them back and exchanged them for cheesecake which also had hints of mild flavor. We ended up throwing it away vowing to not return. I am the type of person who doesn't mind paying a high price for something special but this is sad and terrible that anyone would run a business this poorly and get a way with it for so long. I love shopping small businesses but this is not acceptable!

They mostly do wholesale and supply a number of restaurants and pubs in the area. Additionally they have some donuts, cookies, pizza rolls and bread available for retail customers. I bought two dozen cookies -- 12 peanut butter with real peanuts, the other 12 "m&m" cookies. The "m&m's" looked like the generic knock offs but that did not take away from the flavor. Both types of cookies were huge hits with my coworkers and I had more than I could have. They were soft and very tasty. They're also very affordable - only 30 cents a cookie! The woman working there was friendly and helpful. I look forward to stopping by again and getting some bread.

Nothing is so good as hot bread! The pepperoni rolls are even better hot! Yum! They have Italian bread, Greek bread, Vienna bread, Marble bread, Egg Bread, dinner rolls, etc. Day old bread is sold at a discount. Everything is reasonably priced and smells lovely! Some times they have strudel and dessert items, but those are baked off-premises. The same bread is available at Kroger's and other retail accounts, but if you live nearby, try to get it fresh! It's nice that this bakery is on the west side and I do not have to drive to the east to get cheese pies. I've tried the zataar & cheese, meat & cheese, and just cheese. Always order the longs if feeding family. They're always good and if you stand and wait you can see them cooking fresh out of the oven. Only thing is - the older gentleman that primarily uses the oven doesn't wear gloves and I've seen him touch everything bare handed. I just close my eyes and pray he washes them regularly because, well, cheese pies are worth it.
