First off, what a great shop. Now for back story. I coach high school football. To keep things fun but give an extra incentive, i made my defense a deal. Get 3 turn overs and you can pick my haircut. Well, they did, and we shut out a local school. After making a few phone calls to different salons and barbers, these guys were up for the challenge after hearing the circumstances. Upon walkin into the shop, its an older building, fully decorated with car plates and knick knacks. Two awesome looking chairs and bam, there you are sitting with others waiting for a cut, trim, or shave. After about 10 mins in the chair, the barber doing a little research on my request, he began to cut. Whats my request you ask? The boys want to see a grade A fidget spinner on my noggin. After many laughs, funny looks, bam!!!! Im now rocking a fidget spinner on my dome. I love coaching, and hey, i have plenty of hair, itll all grow back. Enjoy life, live a little. He understands that a haircut isn't just choppin' off this or that he really cares what you look like when he is done. Leroy is a beast, I could not possibly give less than 5 stars here. He is super friendly and does not have the "rock star" attitude that most barbers have around here, I swear that most barbers in Reno could pass as tattoo artists. He's a one man show so expect to wait a minute, especially Monday morning as he is the only barbershop open on a Monday. Don't be a rube - bring cash only and get here early as he stops accepting customers about an hour or two prior to closing so he can make it home at a decent hour. I walked in an hour prior to closing one day and was kindly asked to come back but he didn't make me feel like a clown over the whole thing. I appreciated that kind move.
