Drove all the way from across town to check out the shop and schedule an appointment for a 6" BDS 2.5 coil over system, Fuel Wheels, Toyo MT 37" tires and rear end diff cover. I have never been to this shop before and will never go back! After Driving an hour to get there was excited to check it out! Went in and looked at everything in the store! Spent 20 minutes walking around checking things out! Noticed 3 associates sitting behind computers with no customers in the shop but me! No one! No one ! Gave me the time of day to say welcome in, how you doing?! Let us know if you have any questions?! Nothing! What a let down! 18K ready to be spent and an organization that could care less about customer service! Very Sad! and Disappointe! All commentary on local supply and demand aside, Jeff and Jared did an amazing job, and there's no buyers remorse here whatsoever. My car looks better than the day I picked it up from the dealership. I'm really hoping the coating will pay dividends when it comes to making maintenance easier. I can't speak to the longevity of the products, because I just got it done today, but I'll try and remember to revisit this review six months from now to update it for long-term results and if the products warrant, I'll call those out by name too. The shop is very clean, and Jeff and Jared are extremely and deliberately professional not just in their work product but in all of their customer interactions. I own an original…read more1996 super car that has the original paint with 143k miles.. scratches, swirls, abrasions etc. these guys freaking kiiiiillllled it on the detail(ceramic coat and full interior exterior, paint correction ) also crushed the clear bra on the front clip, top and mirrors. Detail. Well I guess the ole saying "ya can't polish a turd" isn't true cause these guys made 21yo car look new again. I mean flawless. The car is black and shows any and all imperfections. These guys cleaned all that up and more so made the car look better than brand new. The paint shined so much it looked like a mirror.. perfect!! Clear bra. For some reason I always hit stuff after I get a car. Road debris, rocks, birds lol... well sure enough a week after I cleared bra the front and hood got blasted by a wiper blade on i25 going 80 from a semi that hit it. When I pulled over and saw the huge 3' scuff from the bumper all the way across the hood on my newly detailed car.. I had some detail spray and just wiped the scuff off. Couldn't believe. However it had no impact on Blue Chip, as I was treated so well you would have thought I was having them do an engine out service on a 7 figure vehicle. I have never felt so welcomed by anyone in the automotive industry as I did at Blue Chip. Truly made me feel like a special customer. I just had my 981 in for a simple steering wheel swap, but safe to say I'll be back for anything and everything. This is this worse company i have ever delt with ever. My wife got a stationed overseas for 3…read moreyears, so it was hard to do work because I wasn't physically there to do the work, or worse, physically check up on their work. Sent my 1970 dodge dart for A/C to be installed. They of course did a inspection on the hole car and came back a list of things i needed to address. 1) pinon leaked, which I agreed to the work. They forgot to put oil in rear end and blew it up. They did say to me repeatedly they repaired it at their cost. 2) No oil in rear end, but 3 extra quarts ended up in motor and blew all the seals out. I fixed intake gaskets, but didn't realize the front crank seal leaked. Fixed that myself on road in Ohio. 3) Electrical issues. Some sort of power surge blew my horns, LED running lights, relays, and fuses, . Also when they ran AC vents, Wreck it ralph tech just pulled pipes thru dash and scrapped and damaged multiple wires and connectors. Car and AC would just shut off in intersections for weeks until we found the issue. one connector got so hot felt like it was on fire. 4) AC leaks so bad inside the Car that carpets are soaked. 5) They didn't have anyone that had equipment to charge AC, so a "guy" ran home to get something to charge it. My long time friend on Power Tour recharged it, then i had cold air. 6) Loose bolts and Ground for Fuel injection thru the engine compartment. 7) The fuel Injection ECU went bad during power tour. Had to replace it carburetor. 8) The annoying thing. when car was returned, the inside was filthy. metal shaving, wire pieces, connectors, extra holes for AC i assumed, cables on bare metal. the level of attention just wasn't there, ever. Best part is they started ignored all my emails about this. Only saying in beginning that "we wouldn't do that". I did get text messages saying, "we tried to call, but you wont pick up." $11,000 for them not to give a crap. Anyway, good luck if you choose this place.
