I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. I don't have the energy to upload pics but maybe later. Just trust me; pick someone else. Signed, Exhausted, Angry and Broke

Our choice was based on the thorough knowledge and creativity of Susan Podowski, the designer and project manager of our remodel. She was prompt, prepared, and easy to work with. She presented her wonderful design ideas, but was more than willing to listen to our suggestions. Throughout the project, she was in constant communication to keep us updated on what was going to take place next. Our choice turned out to be excellent. The remodel went smoothly, and the workers cleaned the site daily. Since we lived in the house during the work, the crews worked with me to ensure that the disruption was minimal. Every remodeling project will experience changes and sometimes delays beyond the control of the remodelers. Our delays were minimal--a change in kitchen pulls, a reorder of a couple of damaged cabinets, and some minor wall and flooring repairs that were uncovered during the demo. Even with those slight delays, our project was completed in seven weeks. We are so pleased and excited about the transformation of our main living spaces. The kitchen design proposed by Susan is both beautiful and functional. Along with the flooring and repainting of the other two rooms, our house feels new and very updated. We recommend 1-2-3 Remodeling for anyone who wants quality work, consistent progress, fair costs, and clear communication.

So, in the event you have a catastrophic even, likely you will have to change because you will not be able to duplicate your choice. i had that issue, wayer damage, and to keep from starting all over, I wanted to only replace what was damaged to keep what i have and love. Chewy, Annabelle and Chris at the Mansfield Tx store were amazing, very helpful and tried to do what was within their job descriptions to help but, F&D policies, process and procedure are not consumer friendly, not consistent with what is stated, promoted on their website consistentl. To make a king story short, they found the "discontinued" flooring in three (3) different states, $450.00 for the flooring, and shipped BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHIP... charged $450 per store for over $1,200.00 for Shipping. Highway robbery and raping their customer. I ONLY did so to save time. However, I still need flooring for four (4) other rooms and F&D manager would rather loose money, approximately $2,000 or more in sales, than expense the freight. Hell, they didn't bother to send the product back to main warehouse to ship to a store. Want that money... bottom line, they lost money. The store manager wasnof no help, so he can keep working hard and if I were you, be careful and spend your money wisely... else where.
