When I first walked in, I noticed how nicely the establishment was set up and decorated. You can tell that the team at Ceci's put time and effort into setting up an environment that is beautiful and tranquil for customers. Everything is very neat and clean, and the nail stations allow for ample space between each one. There is also a screen separating the nail artist's face from the customer's face, which shows how careful they are with covid. I also noticed the kindness and grace that each employee showed to everyone who walked in. After my manicure was finished, I wanted to sit by my friend and chat with her while her manicure was finishing up. One of the employees graciously pulled over a chair for me and made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely keep coming back here!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the owners who was able to fit me in without an appointment. She had Ms. Kim work on me and I don't believe I've ever had a pedicure as good as the one she gave me. I was immediately sold after that and will only return to see Ms. Kim moving forward. The staff was so welcoming and from what I could see and what Ms. Kim told me, they are close to all their customers and treat them like family. This resonated with me as often times, I've faced ignorance, bias and outright racism at some nail salons. I want to highlight that it's so important to support minority owned businesses in our communities after they experienced the devastating impact of COVID-19. Many of them did not get the PPP loan and certainly need our business. If you can, make sure you visit Fancy Nail.

Let me start by saying I was far more patient than I think most would be in this situation, and the…read morewoman who finally did my nails made up tremendously for the awful start. I was very pleased with the gel pedi and callus removal treatment (Spa Treatment #2). The man who did it took his time and it really shows. The lady I went to after for my gel mani was mf awful though! Firstly, her tools looked dirty! I should've said something immediately but I didn't. Shame on me...I'll be on the lookout for signs of infection this week. Moving on. Without soaking my fingers or anything, she goes into using a large round grit tip power tool like a weedwacker on my cuticles. Then she proceeds to use a large dirty cuticle cutter, then dirty cuticle pusher, and again with the cuticle cutter. Tearing my skin and going way too far down. I winced, and asked her if she could soak my fingers before trimming them to make it easier. She gets me a bowl of water for my hands and applies alcohol on a cotton ball to one of my bleeding fingers. I'm pissed and annoyed, but the words are still making their way up my throat. Next, she files my nails and even the skin just clipped at the cuticle.. including the finger she just made bleed! Middle finger throbbing she still tries to push it back. When she's done, she tells me to go wash my hands to proceed with color, that's when I said I would pay for my pedicure but I'm not going to continue the manicure. I got up telling out loud what was wrong as I walked towards the door. That's when another employee, the only Hispanic woman, offered to do my nails. I reluctantly agreed. She asked me what was wrong with the first lady, and I told her: I don't like the tools she's using The tools she's using are dirty I'm bleeding and in pain She's ripping the cuticles out of my dry hands And she apologized and acknowledged the areas where I was nicked on two fingers. She put a soothing gel over my cuticles before tending to each one with a fine tip cuticle tool that she sprayed down in front of me, and did a wonderful job painting. I tipped the Hispanic woman and the man that did my pedi both $10 to show my gratitude, but BEWARE the Asian woman with the burgundy ombré hair, it was a nightmare.
